✨Cheers to 3 Years of Hombre Taco✨
Three years ago life taught us an unfortunate lesson. There was no way to know at that time that when that door closed a new one would open… Life is not always be simple… over 25 years of being together Carey & I have been through some things! When life is hard though, we put our heads down and we lean into it. That is just who we are.
When we found that beat up Hombre trailer in an old food truck lot, we knew it would be a lot of work, but something about that felt right. I remember spending Spring Break 2022 with Carey & the boys scrubbing, painting & rebuilding that trailer…. Hoping and praying we had made the right choice.
3 years and countless stories later what came out of that hard lesson was a better stronger familia and business. I share my birthday with the Anniversary of Hombre beginning as a business as a reminder to always take a chance and bet on Us. We have had so many opportunities to work with amazing people and businesses. From serving folks all night at a remote ranch in Texas… to working all day serving back of the house at concerts in California… it is crazy where this silly little has taken us!
We hope that in the process of growing this little catering company we have taught our boys some valuable lessons about hard work, we have shared joy & tacos with customers who have become friends and we have grown stronger in our values. Our commitment is to deliver some damn good food, but an even better experience. We do that by staying true to who we are authentically as a family and a brand. We care about the people we serve and we hope it shows!
We have some pretty amazing things planned for the next year of this business… we can’t wait to share with all of you the ride! None of this would be possible without all of you the incredibly loyal following we have. It may be small, but it is mighty! We are grateful for you!
