Julia Pyatt Kaminski’s love for history and family lives on through the Kaminski House. After decades of caring for and restoring the 1769 home alongside her husband Harold, Julia ensured its story wouldn’t end with her. When she passed in 1972, she left the house and its contents to the City of Georgetown, wishing it to be preserved as a museum in honor of Harold and his mother, Rose. Thanks to her vision, generations can now step through these doors and experience the legacy of a remarkable family.
