It is after many prayers and much consideration that we will be closed for the 2024 Prom Season. I am helping to care for and support my parents at this time after my father suffered a fall a couple of weeks ago.

When you see spring blooming to life these next few weeks, please remember us in your prayers. We hope to bring you beautiful blooms and bouts in the fall.

We have no affiliation with tickets for the HHS Homecoming dance. So sorry if there was confusion on the part of Blooms & Bouts. Have a great week leading up to Hoco. Go Mustangs!

Have you ever bought hydrangeas, or if you’re a fortunate soul, picked them from your yard, only to awake the next morning and they’ve crashed? Here’s a showing of mine and how they were revived.
Pic 1 - it’s so sad, lifeless
Pic 2 - placed in a sink of cool tap water, let soak for 15 minutes
Pic 3 - pat dry, trim the stem at a sharp angle and place in a vase with cool tap water
Pic 4 - 1 hour 15 minutes later
Pic 5 - another 30 minutes later
Pic 6 - 35 minutes later, Voila!
So in about 2 1/2 hours it’s a full, bold bloom! Give it a try and let me know how it worked for you. (It really will work at least 80% of the time, every now and then you might get a rogue hydrangea.)
