I am genuinely thrilled to make this post. I know it’s the right thing to do, but the right thing to do is almost NEVER easy. 🌻

The weather is changing, the leaves are falling, and everything within my body is telling me to stop. Take a beat. Relax. Unwind. Reflect! Prepare for the next chapter for my business. None of which I can do while still taking on new event inquires.

Therefore I’ve made the difficult yet correct decision for myself, my family, even my business to ✨pause✨ everything Gettysburg Picnics related and regroup this Spring.

It is so hard for me to say no to the list of people I need to get back to, but it’s even more difficult for me to let unanswered inquiries sit for WEEKS in my inbox. This is not my work ethic and somehow along the way, Gettysburg Picnics got so much bigger than just a lil hobby I wanted to do with my baby on my hip.

I am more than grateful for the support and reviews, the return clients and the never ending ideas you come up with or tag me in. I will still be on social media, probably posting photos from events I’ve yet to post from LAST Spring. 😬 But I won’t be taking any new inquiries this Fall or Winter.

I hope if you also feel your body asking you to take a moment, you’re able to listen without guilt or regret or second guessing yourself for as long as I have been! This feels so right, and already so rewarding.

Please continue to celebrate everything in the meantime! 🤎🍂

She sold out by 1pm, I swear! Her sourdough bread and desserts looked delicious, but I had to have a bite of this cheddar and garlic focaccia loaf the second I bought it!

The Gettysburg Picnics girls (and kids!) were back together today! 🥰 Of course I had to rep The Creative Blue Elephant and wear the leopard print pumpkin shirt she made me… PERFECT for Fall Fest! 🍂

Shoutout to Maple Crest Farms for donating the tractor, haybails, and cornstalks which made for the best fall photos!!!

With over 30 vendors, food trucks, and FREE activities for children and families, we are expecting an AWESOME turnout for this first time event! 🍂

Proceeds support the children, teachers, and staff at SonShine! ☀️
