Married on the most beautiful late September afternoon at the family’s wine and garlic farm, Noah and Alexis’ day felt extra meaningful. With everything these two have been through lately, every moment just seemed to hit a little deeper; the hugs, the laughter, the way their people showed up for them. They were surrounded by the sweetest friends and family, and their dream team of vendors kept the dance floor packed all night. It was one of those weddings that just stays with you!

Bryce and Lindsey were the life of the party all day long and we had so much fun capturing it all. The ceremony and reception were all at the casino but beforehand, we went to Northern Sun Winery for photos with the family and it started to rain a bit as we got there but then it quickly cleared up, and we were able to get all our photos with no stress and a perfect overcast sky! Lindsey ended the night dancing in her cute white cocktail dress, surrounded by her girls while Bryce turned up the heat with the chicken dance and it all couldn't have been more perfect. Congratulations Mr. And Mrs. Schafer!!

I'm not kidding when I say I started planning my speech for their wedding after the first time Robbie and Katelyn hung out but it's finally solidified that MY BEST FRIEND IS GETTING MARRIED!!! Not only am I absolutely ecstatic that she gets to marry her dream man, but she also willingly got in front of my camera (okay maybe not WILLINGLY for the proposal since it was a total surprise) but I also get to help plan a wedding which I know a thing or two about ;) Elated to stand by her side and simultaneously document the day they promise forever to each other next summer.

It was an absolutely beautiful day to celebrate Jacob and Kristin tying the knot! After their engagement session last summer and then another earlier this year, it became abundantly clear that these two are actual models and can't take a bad photo. We couldn't wait for their wedding at the Terrace, and it was even better than we dreamed it would be. We adore these two and their families, and we’re just so grateful to have been part of such a special celebration. Feeling beyond blessed to document love stories like theirs.

Drew and Summer had a more extravagant wedding planned down in Mexico but since Summer's grandma whom she has a very special relationship with, couldn't make it, they decided to surprise her with her own little ceremony right in the courtyard of her nursing home. The entire celebration was thrown together in a matter of weeks and it all came together beautifully! A few close friends and family gathered on an absolutely gorgeous day and the whole day tugged at our heart strings.

Kayla is a visionary so when she started explaining what she wanted to do for an anniversary shoot, we were so excited to bring her thoughts to life! We started at the place they got married which was the gorgeous Terrace Bay Hotel and had a full-circle moment as she wore the same dress she did to their engagement session! After, we ventured to Days River Trail with a more casual vibe and it couldn't have been more perfect. Happy first wedding anniversary, CJ and Kayla!! We hope the past year has treated you well and there are many many more to come! We love you!!

We met Tanner + Kara (and their adorable pup, Violet) a few weeks ago at the coolest waterfall in Ishpeming Township for their engagement session. It rained the entire time but these two were absolute troopers, and honestly, the rain just made it that much more magical when we got to the nearby beach.
We had never been to Yellow Dog River Falls before (though a few clients have suggested it in the past!), and now we totally get the hype. It’s gorgeous! These two were even willing to get sopping wet to get to the top of the falls despite it only being about 50 degrees out...which tells you everything you need to know about their adventurous spirits.
We’re completely obsessed with how this gallery turned out and can’t wait to document their wedding next fall!

We might have experienced the most magical moment of our career this day when they took us into Kyle's big barn and started sweeping in the hayloft which caused dust to hit the light coming in through the cracks- tomorrow we'll post the teaser and you'll see if you haven't on Instagram already! Also Kyle might have put his foot through a weak board up there and almost had a really terrible rest of his day. Nothing a few more beers couldn't fix...or make him forget about until the next day at least.
