It was an absolutely beautiful day to celebrate Jacob and Kristin tying the knot! After their engagement session last summer and then another earlier this year, it became abundantly clear that these two are actual models and can't take a bad photo. We couldn't wait for their wedding at the Terrace, and it was even better than we dreamed it would be. We adore these two and their families, and we’re just so grateful to have been part of such a special celebration. Feeling beyond blessed to document love stories like theirs.

Drew and Summer had a more extravagant wedding planned down in Mexico but since Summer's grandma whom she has a very special relationship with, couldn't make it, they decided to surprise her with her own little ceremony right in the courtyard of her nursing home. The entire celebration was thrown together in a matter of weeks and it all came together beautifully! A few close friends and family gathered on an absolutely gorgeous day and the whole day tugged at our heart strings.

Kayla is a visionary so when she started explaining what she wanted to do for an anniversary shoot, we were so excited to bring her thoughts to life! We started at the place they got married which was the gorgeous Terrace Bay Hotel and had a full-circle moment as she wore the same dress she did to their engagement session! After, we ventured to Days River Trail with a more casual vibe and it couldn't have been more perfect. Happy first wedding anniversary, CJ and Kayla!! We hope the past year has treated you well and there are many many more to come! We love you!!

We met Tanner + Kara (and their adorable pup, Violet) a few weeks ago at the coolest waterfall in Ishpeming Township for their engagement session. It rained the entire time but these two were absolute troopers, and honestly, the rain just made it that much more magical when we got to the nearby beach.
We had never been to Yellow Dog River Falls before (though a few clients have suggested it in the past!), and now we totally get the hype. It’s gorgeous! These two were even willing to get sopping wet to get to the top of the falls despite it only being about 50 degrees out...which tells you everything you need to know about their adventurous spirits.
We’re completely obsessed with how this gallery turned out and can’t wait to document their wedding next fall!

We might have experienced the most magical moment of our career this day when they took us into Kyle's big barn and started sweeping in the hayloft which caused dust to hit the light coming in through the cracks- tomorrow we'll post the teaser and you'll see if you haven't on Instagram already! Also Kyle might have put his foot through a weak board up there and almost had a really terrible rest of his day. Nothing a few more beers couldn't fix...or make him forget about until the next day at least.

Despite an insane downpour that hit right before the ceremony forcing everything inside, Kaylee (who was prepared for everything and SO organize!) and Dylan flawlessly pivoted the plan and still had a gorgeous, perfect wedding day. These two are surrounded by so much love from their family and friends, it was an honor to be the ones to capture it!

We got to travel to the loveliest family summer home surrounded by mountains in Cochrane, Wisconsin to celebrate Ryan and Taylor tying the knot (for the second time! Their first “I do” was in a little white chapel in Vegas a few months ago and we’re absolutely obsessed with that detail).
We went to school with Taylor and have known her forever, so getting to capture this milestone for her felt extra special. Before they even booked us, we met up for coffee to dream through their vision, and we left that meeting so excited for what was to come. The plans may have changed about a hundred times since then, but the day turned out nothing short of perfect.
After photographing their beach engagement session in Marquette last summer (if you haven’t seen those go find them immediately 😍), we knew we were in for something incredible. These two are some of the kindest, coolest, most down-to-earth humans, and watching them love on each other and seeing all their family and friends rally around them was beyond heartwarming.
We’ve learned that a wedding day often says so much about who a couple truly is. And when every single person; parents, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends are happily running around making sure everything goes just right, you know they’re surrounded by people who love them deeply. That was exactly the vibe all weekend long.
There was no shortage of joy, laughter, and love and we’re just so honored we got to capture it all.

We're suckers for old, historic buildings so being at the Seul Choix (pronounced 'Sis Shwa' -That one took us awhile to remember) Lighthouse for Heath and Hannah's wedding was so exciting! We had only met these two a couple weeks prior when we did their engagement session but it took no time at all to realize how deeply in love they are with each other. The day was filled with the sweetest moments and we're so blessed to have gotten to capture it all.
