Day 5 of our Taste of the Desert countdown highlights a unique local favorite with a story as bold as its flavors: Bob’s Freakin’ Nuts—now all about fresh, handcrafted pepperoni!

What started as a small nut business grew into a passion for creating high-quality, fresh meat sticks. Frustrated with hard, greasy, shelf-sold options, Bob partnered with the family-owned Johnson’s Smokehouse in Olympia, learning the art of sausage-making to craft his own pepperoni. Today, Bob offers 17 rotating flavors made with a beef and pork blend that’s 80% lean for the perfect bite. Smoked in small batches and sold directly to consumers, these pepperoni sticks are as fresh as they come.

With 20 feet of pepperoni goodness at the Maricopa County Home and Garden Show, this is your chance to try a true labor of love from a family business that’s all about quality and flavor.
