After 13 years in the wedding industry, I can finally say with all certainty that I have planned, designed, and flowered my very favorite wedding ever! 🌸👰🏼

My beautiful daughter, Alora, married her high school sweetheart, James on May 23rd.

From the time that I found out I was pregnant with her, I began to pray that God would protect her life, prepare her for the future that He had planned, and bless her with a husband that would love Jesus and encourage her heart to love Jesus above all things. But when she faced open heart surgery at just 11 months old I was fearful that her future may never come. But I was so wrong to fear. My God is a faithful Father and protected her life.

Over the years, through every phase, I have seen the hand of God on her. He has been her guide and when He guided her to a friends high school graduation party where she met James and came home beaming from ear to ear and rambling on and on about a boy she met, I knew that there may be something more.

Now years later, as I watched her make her unconditional vows and covenant before the Lord, confess her devotion and love for that man, who no longer is a boy, my heart was overjoyed by the prayers answered from a sovereign Father who cares about a mommas prayers.

I am beyond thrilled, grateful, and honored that I got to watch my daughter become a wife and that I have gained a son like no other!

I am the most blessed momma in the world!

To the most beautiful bride there has ever been (until in a few years when you’ll have to share that title with your sisters) I love you with every fiber of my being and am so proud of the woman you are!

My oldest daughter, Alora will be traveling in just a couple of weeks to India to share the gospel of Jesus and support an on the ground missionary organization. She has been working for months to raise the funds necessary for her to make the trip. She is a little half way there and is still in need of support before November 6th. If would consider supporting her financially and prayerfully, this momma’s heart would be most grateful!

I have prayed for her to love Jesus and follow Him all the days of her life since I first found out I was pregnant with her and now to see her live out her love for Jesus and his gospel is the most humbling honor.
