Let's talk hydrangeas. They are large, fragrant, romantic, and FINICKY. Hydrangeas are one of the few flowers that can drink from their petals. They also struggle to retain water from their stems and require frequent trims. Follow these tips to keep your arranged hydrangeas alive and well for as long as possible:

1. Spritz your hydrangeas with a water bottle daily.

2. Cut stems every few days, at a steep angle, and replace the water (you should be doing this with any arrangement).

3: When you trim the stems, also cut at least one vertical cut, to allow more water to pe*****te the stem.

4: If your hydrangea wilts (caused by temperature extremes, lack of hydration, etc), submerge the entire head in a bowl of warm water for up to an hour. It should rejuvenate the stem completely.
