As of now Joe Pool Lake is still closed by the City of Grand Prairie and because of this all BoaterLifeDFW events are canceled. We will reschedule as soon as we know more. Stay tuned as we get ready to take the party on the road 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽🚤🚤🚤💦💦💦

SAFETY FIRST, PARTY later! Before you head out onto the water, double-check these crucial items to guarantee a safe and memorable experience. Have more tips to add?? Include them in the comments.
1. Do you have an anchor? - Anchors are a must when tying up to protect the line and those in the water. Have a good one that will hold your boat and enough line to keep it in place.
2. Have your fenders ready (at least 3 hanging) Bring a total of 6 to protect BOTH sides - No one wants to deal with scratches on their boat.
3. LIFE JACKETS!!! - There needs to be enough for each person onboard. And if you’re in the water, please wear the life jacket.
6. Drink RESPONSIBLY - Enough Said. We’re all adults.
7. Docking Rope - You can’t pull up to a tie up without rope to tie off your boat 🤷🏽♂️
8. Have plenty of water and food. When you tie up be prepared to stay put. Most tie ups last for hours and in/out disrupts the line.
This isn’t an all-inclusive list but these items will at least get you started. Check the comments for links to anchors and fenders we use. Also we will list videos we have of setting the anchors and even pulling up. Let’s have a fun but safe time out on the water!!!

The Last Ride’s 80s vs 90s party ended the season with a BANG! Thank you to everyone that showed up and showed out from Joe Pool Lake and Lake Lewisville. You can still catch us in the cove as the weather permits but this one was the last official party on the water for the season.
