These last 6 months have been quite difficult for me physically and I have not been able to do any baking. I’m slowly easing back in and this wedding cake was a perfect request to get me started again. It reminded me how much I love doing specialty treats! ❤️

Now I can share! ❤️. These custom cookies traveled all the way from Colorado to California and made it safely for my nephew Camden and Nikki’s wedding thanks to my mom and dad! These were such a fun guest favors at each place setting and for sure something you won’t see at many weddings. Congratulations Camden and Nikki!

So excited that I’m finally able to say I offer dessert tables! Trends have definitely shifted and while some couples still love the traditional big wedding cake, many others are leaning towards dessert tables. This table contained so many yummy options and there was sure to be something to satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth!

JoeDan is an amazing young man with downs Syndrome who is turning 30 and wanted a bunny cake for his birthday party! So a bunny cake is what I made ❤️. His smile and big hug made my whole day!

Birthdays are always special, but some birthdays are extra special! Having the privilege of doing a birthday cake for a WWII veteran who is turning 99 is pretty amazing! This young man also worked for the postal carriers for many years so I tied that into the theme as well by adding replicas of postcards the soldiers were given to write home with.
Thank you Hollis for your service to our country and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

With moving and kitchen projects, this year didn’t lend itself to a lot of Christmas treats. However, I had to at least do a little Christmas fun for our family and boy have I missed it! Next year though…… I’m planning so much!!!

Wedding cake trends have certainly shifted over the years to much simpler designs. However, I still love the traditional beautiful designs of this type of cake and was so excited when the bride and groom chose this style ❤️.
And YES, this post means I am settled in and back at it, taking wedding cake orders for 2023 in the NOCO area ❤️.

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve posted here because of our recent move. However, we are settled in at our new home in Greeley and I’ve started baking and making goodies again! It felt so good to bake lots of cookies this week!!
