I want to give a huge shoutout to Events By Victoria for allowing us to be apart of this couples special day! Everything was absolutely perfect from the bride to the venue! I couldn’t have asked to work with a better team than Victoria and all the other vendors who helped make this day special for this beautiful couple.

Fire & Ice Christmas Countdown Day 20 & 21!

I have been collaborating with .shy at We have been discussing about doing a girls night out where we could get woman owned business to do almost like a vendor showcase. We were thinking about possibly doing it late January/ early February.

Who would be interested in something like this? Whether you are a vendor or just to come support the cause? It doesn’t matter if you are a caterer, artist, realtor, hair/make up, or whatever you do! We are always open to ideas!!

Who else is tired of this pesky elf on the shelf? Constantly forgetting to move it. Coming up with ideas of where to put him next & what’s the set up going to be. When in all reality you just want to throw it in the garbage & go back to bed. We never remember to move it until after we get into bed. Am I the only one?

Today I had the honor of giving back to my community!!

If it wasn’t for the community around me and the support of my community I wouldn’t be in the position I am in today!!

Delancey Street reached out to me and asked if I could help in providing lunch. I didn’t have to think on it, I knew this was something I wanted to do. This foundation means more to me than most know because I was once in this position before moving to Greensboro and I’m thankful to be where I am today. I’m thankful to be able to show we as individuals fall but we can rise again. I was asked to provide lunch for 30. They simply asked for hamburgers and fries, nothing more. We discussed it and I was happy to not only provide hamburgers and fries but hotdogs as well as all the toppings on the side (lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, chili and slaw).

The best part of it all was when I delivered! I was able to learn a little about what their doing not only today but until December 23rd. If you’re looking for a Christmas tree and haven’t had the chance to get one yet I highly suggest going out to: 2010 N. Church St. Greensboro, North Carolina 27405 and buying one of their trees. I also learned they sale hand crafted items such as bird houses, signs and so much more. These guys were making things right there on the lot and they all had so much talent showcased in these pieces. If you’ve already gotten your tree and would still like to stop by and show support in any way please feel free to do so or contact Delancey Street directly!

If you haven’t heard about Delancey street here’s a little about them...

Delancey Street houses up to 30 residents for up to 4 years. During this time they teach their residents 3 or more marketing skills (automotive, landscaping, culinary arts, welding and so much more). They help their residents get an education and obtain a driver’s license. They help rehabilitate the homeless as well as those with criminal backgrounds and drug addictions. Delancey Street has a 90% success rate and tens of thousands of graduates who are leading upstanding lives to this very day.

From one small business owner to the next, I challenge you to give back to your community in any way you can. Without them neither you nor I would be where we are today in our businesses!

I was excited to do my very first corporate event this past Friday, December 9th.

Corporate holiday luncheon for the Gastro and Surgical department in Burlington. It was truly an honor to be able to serve such an amazing group of guest.

The menu was as follows:
Turkey, ham, Mac & cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy, fresh salad bar, strawberry shortcake shooters, lemon cheesecake bites, cinnamon cake bites.

Kristie’s Kreative Catering was truly honored when I received a call asking if I could help to give back to . Delancey Street is an organization which gives back to the community by helping homeless in beginning that next stage in life, regaining stability.. Coming from being homeless we know just how hard it can be to start a new beginning but I am here to tell you it is possible. Stay positive and stay strong. Never give up, dreams do come true.

We were honored when Up To Somethin'93 reached out for us to cater her Halloween Black Light Paint Party. Doing this event with this amazing artist gave us the opportunity to bring out our creative side. With each vision she had we were able to bring them to life! If you aren’t already doing so go follow her page... She is not only an amazing person but and amazing artist as well! We’re truly excited for the next event she is hosting and look forward to working with her more in the future. Small businesses supporting other small businesses is always a beautiful thing!

This week we’ve been challenged to make Jamaican Beef Pattie’s known as Jamaican Patties so this weekend we’ll be putting it into action and making it happen.

If you have a dish you’d like to challenge us with please don’t hesitate to do so as we love new challenges and learning to prepare different cultured dishes.
