When the DJ was specifically told not to play a certain song from the movie Mama Mia, the groom decides to act and sing it while all the guys come out in flippers. The flipper dance is a popular scene from that movie and this ended up being the highlight of the night and a complete surprise as you can see.

I love to incorporate the sun in photos when I can. Whether that is poking through tree leaves or an epic sunset shot like these from Emily and Russell's wedding. Perfect shots for summer weddings like theirs. Sunset shots require special lighting to overpower the sun and light the subject. If you are looking for amazing sun photos like these I got you ;)

To be able to photograph a wedding at the same church I got married in over 20 years ago was very special and surreal. I had not been back there since because we moved to the other part of town right after. Standing up on the stage before the wedding and just looking around while alone was emotional to say the least. It was where my family started. I would never have known then how things would go, what my kids would be like, and where we would all be today. When Ben and Jamie hired me and told me where their wedding was going to be I couldn't help but to be excited. To be able to give to them the gift of the day. Because of this they too will look back and relive their most precious moments together and remember where it all began. These are some of the highlights from their day :)
