Just in case you wondered, we are still over here cranking out our fabulous designs at Syd’s Florist & Gifts. It has been crazy lately with saddles for graves and grave canisters. Check them out. Just getting this out to my friends, so you know we are good people over here at Syd's Florist & Gifts. I had a lady (using that word lightly) place a flower order on my website, sydsflorist.com, and then call the shop and tell one of my staff that under no circumstances were we to tell the recipient who sent the flowers. My staff person relayed the message to me and turns out she was sending the flowers to my friends husband, with a card message expressing her love for him, XOXOXOXO. I immediately called my friend to see if we should fill the order, because I felt like this lady was just being mean. We DID NOT deliver the order at the request of the recipient. I called the sender to let her know the delivery was refused and she went crazy! She said she did not place the order, even though it was her card, AND she had called on her phone earlier to tell us to not tell him who they were from. She started screaming at me and I said "I don't need to know all of that I just need your credit card, so I can refund you." She then VERY QUICKLY rattled off the card number, that was used when she "didn't place the flower order." :) I told her I didn't know how to speed write and asked her to repeat the numbers slowly. Then she started yelling at me AGAIN and said she would make sure my business paid by posting a bad review. That's when I hung up on her. I did give her a refund, because it turns out I AM A SPEED WRITER - who knew? Please do not believe everything you read - except this - this is true stuff. Thanks for all of my awesome customers. How's your day going?
