It’s a lovely late start to this holiday week & I just got these sweet snaps of me & the best Assistant Coordinator there ever was, from this past weekend’s wedding - thanks to 💕

So SHOUT OUT to my lovely wife who always sacrifices her Saturdays for me & my dream! She knows me better than anybody & as much as I love all the other people I get to work alongside - she’ll always be my # 1 - because she reads my mind like nobody else can! She also is forever the person reminding me to eat & drink water on busy wedding days - so I stay sane 🤣

🙋🏼‍♀️ WEDDING PRO TIP: DON’T FORGET THE DETAILS!!

I will forever be a sucker for a gorgeous Flat Lay details photo 😍

I love how different they all are. How they show off some of the most unique & intimate personal details of your day!

And no matter how many times I remind couples about this - it always seems to be the thing that slips through the cracks!

So here’s your reminder: PACK A DETAILS BAG/BOX!!

Some of the typical things I recommend my couples bring:

Stationery: Save the Dates, Invites, Details cards, Itineraries, Addressed Envelope, Wax Seals, Personalized Stamps, etc.

Jewelry: The rings & box, earrings, necklace, cuff links, bracelets, hair pieces, etc.

Accessories: Perfume, Shoes, Garter, Tie, Pocket Square, etc.

Sentimental: Old, New, Borrowed, Blue? Personalized Handkerchief? Mom’s veil? Anything that is special or meaningful to you & your future spouse!

Pack them all together in one bag or box to hand over to your photographer when they arrive on wedding day! I promise you’ll thank me later 👌

Happy Spring Equinox 💐

I always get asked what my FAVORITE part of a wedding day is…and typically my number one answer is THE REVEAL. Seeing all of the hard work, planning & hustle coming together to bring the vision to life - it’s always such a magical moment when everything is finished!

But coming in a close second…THE FLOWERS. I’m a sucker for the florals. You will catch me literally stopping to smell the roses all day long, because flowers bring me SO MUCH joy!

Why you should hire a Planner…reason 54278!

We work for YOU! 🙌

I am in no way throwing shade on anyone here…but the reality is - the biggest difference between a Venue Coordinator & a Wedding Planner - is who we work for!

When you hire a Planner/Coordinator - you not only get someone who walks you through the planning process & makes sure you don’t miss a detail…You get a hype girl. A therapist. A personal cocktail waitress. A dress bustler. Someone who reminds you to be present, touch up your lipstick, take lots of deep breaths, and ENJOY YOUR DAY!

A venue coordinator is a HUGE asset in the planning process, they know the logistics of the event space, they can help with guidelines & venue policy - a lot of times they help with setup of equipment, etc.

But when it comes to pre-wedding communication & coordination of your vendors, detailed master timelines for your vendor team & wedding party, and making sure YOU are 100% taken care of on your big day - that’s not always in their job description!

Do yourself, your family & your wedding party a favor - hire someone who thinks of every detail before anyone else has to! You want to be present with all of them making memories on your Big Day - not stressing over the little things!

From me & my matcha 🍵

If you ask anyone in my life, they’ll tell you I’m the coffee shop queen. But…I’m not actually here for the coffee. I’m a sucker for a Matcha Latte or any loose leaf herbal tea - and of course all the productive work vibes. There’s just something about the energy of a cute little cafe that I can’t get over.

Still planning gorgeous weddings, but now - adding a more all-encompassing special event Service List!

I’m still in the “finalizing the details” stages on the back end & have a bunch of Spring Wedding clients that are deep in the final planning stages, so gradually over the next month I will be dropping a new package guide, a website & maybe even a FUN giveaway 👀🥳 to celebrate the expansion of my service offerings!
