The idea was and is to provide affordable DJ services and create experiences for people regardless of budget. We will make it work. We always do. In all of my best memories of my life, food and music were always involved. The second part of the idea, was to give my family a chance to do what THEY love as well. It’s only possible to do this because of Nate, Kyle Anderson II, Michael Ortoleva and Feddy Man.

2 weeks left of Wednesday Trivia at Jack’s Irish and Italian Pizza Pub until fall.

I’m surrounded by encyclopedia Britannica’s and Trivial Pursuit boxes toiling away at creating 60 fresh questions.

Many of you know, before my Tech days I was a DJ! I worked at radio stations up and down the East Coast and DJ’d weddings, live events and concerts. Around 2007(ish) I traded in my mic for a keyboard and that was that.

Until… Kerrilyn McGurn Hawkins and Bernie Hawkins opened Jack’s Irish and Italian Pizza Pub. I offered to host a trivia night and it’s now a pretty fun weekly event.

What I have learned since starting in January is: There is a massive need for affordable DJs for any event in RI/MASS/CT. I’ve heard prices like $3500-$5000 for a wedding.

So, for the love of the game, and for the people and for the music I put up a page to provide DJ services to friends and friends of friends. I have a couple of DJ’s and a couple Emcees that can book inexpensively for limited dates.
