The recent South Carolina Festival of Discovery at NxT Door on Maxwell in Greenwood, South Carolina, was a spectacular event that brought together blues enthusiasts and music lovers alike. We are grateful for the opportunity to be a host at this celebrated weekend and extend our appreciation to the city of Greenwood for their support. Our venue was honored to showcase a range of talented bands, including blues band EG Kight Arts & Entertainment, Brett Barnard and The Hitman Band, as well as local favorites, krawfish and Last Days Parade. We look forward to continuing to provide a platform for exceptional live music and creating unforgettable experiences for our guests.

A Few Friendly reminders for this weekend at the South Carolina Festival of Discovery:

***NxT Door will be CASH ONLY***

***Must have wristband to leave NxT Door with alcohol in a clear cup***

Uptown Greenwood will be selling wristbands to individuals 21+ years old that must be purchased/worn to consume alcohol outdoors/on public property.
Wristbands will be sold at the wristband tent next to the information tent on Oak Avenue. Each wristband will cost $10 and are good throughout the 3-day event.

Another group performing during this year’s LOCAL FOCAL '24 is Last Days Parade! They take the stage on Saturday 7/13 at 5pm at Howard’s on Main Greenwood !

Last Days Parade (LDP ) is a local rock band that started as a five piece in the early 2000’s . They play Original and cover music all over the upstate - especially right here in their home town of Greenwood S.C. ! The band has down sized to a three piece now playing a variety of music that everyone can enjoy . Members include Tyler McCutcheon ( Guitar&LeadVocals)
