It’s been a while since I’ve posted. Life has been…well life-ing. There’ve been losses of life, the finishing up of graduate school (come on December!), teacher life, and mom/wife life. I had to travel to Dalton this weekend to take the GACE. I made it a weekend with my camera and made the random stops I don’t always get a chance to make, and then stopped in at Berry College in Rome on my way home. Here’s a few edited images showing the true beauty of nature.

It’s that time of year…SANTA MINIS! Think gold backdrop with red, white, green and gold balloon arch (yes, I said balloons 😬 IYKYK). Sessions will be 15 mins, will start at 2pm on November 17, and end at 4 pm (I will consider extending the time to 5 if all spaces fill). Edited images will be shared via email and will be finished no later than November 30.

Note: A $25 NONREFUNDABLE deposit is due at booking in order to secure your time slot. The remaining $75 will be due no later than the start of your session. I’m having to include a deposit due to previous last-minute cancellations.

The location will be in Griffin and I will send the location via Messenger.

From my family to yours, Merry Christmas!

2023 has been a tough one, for sure, but the end of it has been on the brighter side (knock on wood). Promises have been made and we are excited to see what the future holds. We still have a few surprises coming since a few presents have yet to arrive from both me and the hubby. All in all, it’s been a good one and I’m excited to see what is ahead for 2024.

I have someone near and dear to my heart (she’s hidden from this post) who is in dire need of groceries due to a change in income recently. I’d love to be able to fill her cabinets this Christmas for her and her adorable kiddos when I see her for lunch in a few days. She works so hard to provide for her family and is still struggling so much right now with everything she has on her plate. I know brighter days are ahead and I pray she’s able to see those rays of sunshine peeking through the clouds that seem to fill her sky right now.

Even if it's just a $1, anything helps! I love being able to help others because God has provided me and my family with so many blessings, even in a year that has been filled with lots of trials and tribulations for me, my family, and those closest to me. I would love to see my friends and family get blessed this Christmas as well!

🎵Santa Claus is coming to town!!!!!🎵

It is already that time of year and I can’t wait! Southside Santa and I are teaming up again this year to collect toys and donations for local families in need. Rooted Rebel Chiropractic (located in the Dovedown building in Griffin) has been gracious enough to open their space to us on Sunday, November 5 from 1p-4p. If all slots fill up, I’ll see about extending the time, but all slots must fill up. I will take walk-ins as time permits, but please understand that appointments receive first priority. The times are listed in the comments. Please share out and help us to help others!

Sessions are $75 and include 5 digital images with print release. Payment options are PayPal, CashApp, Venmo, and cash.

*The photos are for those who’d like to see what my inspiration is for my setup and decor. The background is a brick wall with Santa and an optional white wall for a family photo (see wreath photo for what I have in mind).

I got to spend my Saturday evening with the pure defintion of a “gentle giant”. He was the sweetest boy. His age has caught up with him and his family is spending what time they have left with him. To say he is loved and has been loved is an understatement. I’m thankful for the opportunity to be a part of something so special.

It’s not everyday that Santa shows up for photos…in the middle of August! Needless to say, this was a HOT one, but this sweet girl was totally worth it!

My happy place

Anyone else find peace with the ocean? What’s your happy place? Water, in general, is my therapy. In February, Pensacola Beach became a place for meditation, for peace, and for easing my anxiety about the situation at the time. Water eases the pain of my fibro and there’s something about the sunshine on my skin that is healing. Of course, I lather up with sunscreen because it is super important. 40 is quickly approaching and I’ve got to keep my skin looking as young as it can.
