Egghead Pub Trivia Co. Lake County Illinois' Premier Live Team Trivia Company. We run our own events weekly. Lake County Illinois' Premier Live Team Trivia company.

Tonight, Friday, October 24, 2025, we are doing Music Bingo at:

(1 of 1) The Fogcutter located on the corner of Rte 45 and Grand Avenue at 9:30 pm with Egghead Will. Specials: TBA (847) 356-3555

The game is just like a regular game of bingo (winning by straight line, diagonal, or four corners) except in this version, your card will be full of artist names instead of “B2” or “O75”. To call the artists, we’ll be playing the chorus of a popular song and if you have the name of the artist that performed it, you mark it down. Unlike our trivia nights, “cheating” is actively encouraged. You can ask the bartender, ask your neighbor, or even use your phone to ask Siri or Shazam. It doesn’t matter to us how you find the name of the artist. Because of this game mechanic, it is encouraged to sit near other people (i.e. closer to the bar than toward the back) so you can assist each other in identifying the artist name.

We play four games of bingo. There will be prizes for the winner of each game including a bigger prize for the winner of the 4th “double MINGO” game. Each round will have a different set of 75 songs, so each night has a potential to hear 300 songs.

Remember that this Sunday, we have our Special Trivia event called Jukebox Junkies:

WHEN: Sunday, October 12, 2025 at 1:00pm (show up 12:30pm)

WHERE: Austin's Saloon & Eatery in Libertyville, IL (show up half hour before official start).

DIVISIONS: There will be two divisions for the event; the Competitive Division (COMP) and the Casual Division (CASU).
COST (COMP/CASU): $40/$10 Per TEAM (Pre-Paid Prior To Week-of; seating guaranteed); $45/$15 Per TEAM (Pre-Paid Week-of; seating guaranteed); $50/$20 Per TEAM at the Door (seating based on availability).

PRIZE POOLS: There will be two prize pools; the COMP Prize Pool and the CASU Prize Pool. $30 from all COMP teams' entries will go into the COMP pool, all other $$ goes into CASU pool.

PAYOUTS: Top three for CASU pool is 45%, 33%, 22%; Top two for COMP pool is 60%, 40%. COMP teams can win both pools, CASU teams can only win the CASU pool.

TEAMS: Max of eight (8) players per team.

TOPICS: Music topics. 2 general music knowledge rounds, plus Accidental Karaoke Round, Name That Radio Artist, 8-bit Challenge etc. We will try to split all questions 50/50 between pre-2000 and 2000+ topics.
