Let’s talk about touring venues! Here’s a list of questions you should be asking! Would you like us to answer these questions about Hudson Springs in a follow up post?
1. What extra costs/fees will I have from the venue? Security, set up fee, clean up fee, insurance, rehearsal etc.
2. What is your alcohol policy? And are there extra costs from the venue regarding alcohol
3. When and how long will you have access to the venue?
4. Will there be venue personnel on site during my event?
5. What is my weather back up plan and how far in advance does the venue need to know?
6. What is your max capacity? At max capacity is there still room for a dance floor, photobooth or other things that might be important to you)
7. What is included in the venue rental?
8. Am I able to come see the venue after booking?
9. Does the venue provide any support during the planning process? (Ex: timelines, floor plans)
10. Can I bring in my own vendors? What vendor requirements do you have?
11. What are the clean up/tear down responsibilities?
12. Am I able to have have my rehearsal at the venue the night before?
13. What makes your venue different from every other venue?
14. Are there any restrictions? Vendor restrictions? Decor restrictions?
