Long time, no talk!

It's been a weird year in the garden... Unfortunately, one of the weird things is that I did lose 2 of my flower beds as I had to change the layout.

That does also mean that I cannot offer flowers the same way that I did before, and have to keep them limited to close friends and family.

The good news is that we are ready to buy a house within the next 6 months and will be able to grow a LOT more! So please stick around as we share that process.

We are hoping to buy either right over the border in WV or ideally, Washington County, Maryland! Hopefully the market and interest rates settle down enough for us to make that happen fast. 🤪

For now, enjoy this little bouquet I made for my lovely coworker, who is a DJ at 106.9 The Eagle here in Hagerstown. Happy birthday, Erin!

Happy prom season!

I don't personally grow roses but I had such a fun time putting together this corsage and bouquet set for my neighbor's prom! 💐

He and his date with a black and red motif. How amazing does this combo look with her beautiful dress?! 🌹

I was able to step in when another local florist couldn't manage it. It happens! Having a network is always so important for times like these.

This past Monday, I had the honor of making a cascading bridal bouquet for a client. I originally met Denise at the flower arranging shop I taught!

Denise wanted a few colors in her bouquet that I wasn't growing, so she hand dyed these beautiful Sola Wood Flowers with her wedding colors. They were so easy to work with and made a stunning addition to the arrangements.

Mixed with zinnias, celosia, Coleus, and other fillers from my garden, I created this jewel toned set for her, her husband, and other members of the bridal party. 💐

It's always an honor to be a part of such a special day - thank you Denise and family for your support and congratulations on your marriage! 🧡

From now until I say so, I will be offering $1 off your next bouquet when you bring back your jar from your arrangement. Heck, it doesn't even need to be *that* jar. I just need a regular mouth sized mason jars (16 oz or higher, please!)

There is NO LIMIT to how many jars you can bring. Bring me 10 jars, and you got yourself a free mini! Bring me 25 jars and you got yourself a free large! It's that easy.

Thanks for helping me keep those jars out of the landfill and saving yourself some money on flowers, too. 🤩

Today's flower arranging class was so lovely.

Firstly, thank you so much to Audrey Rouzer Portraits for hosting us in her beautiful downtown Hagerstown studio!

It was a lovely event with 7 of us. We went over the basics of farmhouse style arranging, flower farming, and styling! 💐

Audrey is a phenomenally talented bo***ir and portrait photographer with a charming space in downtown Hagerstown. She and I are hosting this class to help fellow flower lovers learn how to create stunning arrangements!

My #1 question is: How do I order flowers from you?

The answer is: you just ask!

MADE TO ORDER
I make 99% of my bouquets to order, as I have a limited number of flowers available any given day. We are a very small flower farm so I don't like to waste flowers. 💐 Message me to order and I can get them ready within the hour most times. I ask for 24 hours notice for more than 3 arrangements.

PREMADE
I do sometimes make bouquets "just because" which can be picked up any time. Check my page for recently posted bouquets - I will mark them if they're sold. I don't have a stand, I keep them indoors to keep them as fresh as possible until they're ready to be taken home.

Earlier this year, I taught a class on a seed starting method called Winter Sowing, both in person and online! One of my online students emailed me this today and I wanted to share.

Winter Sowing is a great method where you take an old milk, tea, or juice jug and transform it into a mini greenhouse, and start growing plants as early as January. 🌱

I will be teaching it again in January, so be sure to keep an eye out for that announcement later this year. 🗓️
