We love birds and all of their beauty, especially the unique colors of pheasants! Originally an Asian species, the ring-necked pheasant was successfully introduced into North America in 1881 and into Iowa about 1900. Iowa's first ring-necks were introduced accidentally when a severe windstorm wrecked the pens of game breeder William Benton of Cedar Falls releasing approximately 2,000 birds.

Making a stop by the Breast Cancer Awareness of the Cumberland Valley step n stride event at Hagerstown Communtiy College. October is breast cancer awareness month. For our daughters, granddaughters, grandmothers, wives, girlfriends and all the ladies in our lives and in our fields, we hope you take an active roll in prevention, detection, and support.
