Thanks to our incredible sound crew who spent 3 full days of their life setting up the back line, sound checking, running day of show - and performing! Congrats to Up A Creek, who won the Judges Choice award by getting the highest score when judged in 5 categories:

🎸Planning and preparation: Whether the band appeared ready to play, had their instruments and equipment prepared, and started on time
🎧Originality: How unique the band’s songs sounded, and whether they demonstrated any original improvisational skills
🙌Audience interaction: Whether the band talked to or physically interacted with the audience, and how confident they were in their interaction
📋Quality of performance: Whether the band appeared confident and competent, and whether their setlist was well-constructed
🏟️Stage presence: Whether the band used the stage effectively, and appeared positive about their performance

Their high score garnered them recording time at the Tonic Room Recording Studio and their chosen non-profit gets a $1000 donation on their behalf!

If you’re interested in battles with wide age spreads that are actually entertaining, uplifting, and fun be sure to come out and support our acts aging from 12 years to some really decent and kind hearted 50 somethings, who are all gonna kick ass in a good way at the 5B Battle of the Bands at the Liberty Theater on Saturday Nov 16th!
No one is walking away with millions of dollars but there are awesome prizes and donations to non-profits, benefiting an entire community!

One of these acts will perform again at Sawtooth Valley Gathering and one lucky attendee will win a pass!

The "Road to Sawtooth Valley Gathering 2025" tour continues to pick up steam with another stop added featuring 5B Battle of the Bands! 16 acts will be competing in the Wood River Valley at the beautiful Liberty Theater Hailey. The winner of the audience vote will be selected to perform at the 10th annual Sawtooth Valley Gathering in Stanley, Idaho, and we very much look forward to seeing who'll end up on the lineup next summer.

A sign-up sheet will be available at the merch stand, and one lucky attendee will win a Festival Pass to the 10th annual Sawtooth Valley Gathering in Stanley, Idaho. See you soon!

has a sweet new ride! And you can get a ride from Ketchum Forest Service Park to the theater on Saturday at 3:45 and 6:45 with an approximate 9:45/10pm return north.
