Battle judge Mark’s band plays a free show in Boise tonight 5:30-7:30 at a really cool rooftop venue (yes it’s enclosed!)- Hap Hap Lounge above Treefort Music Hall. He’s also going to premier a handful of Ghost Stallions Tunes this eve as well so go check it out!

Sara produced an event to remember
A showcase of talent, the first of its kind
An event so great, it’s still on our mind

From jazz and rock to country and bluegrass
Georgia Blu brought the sparkle and sass
Side Hustle performed an excellent set
And Heath Owens put on a show we won’t forget

Up A Creek had us dancing and stomping our feet
Secuestrado transported us to a swanky Cuban street
Moonshine Schubert brought all the good vibes
Dump Rules, boy, they caught us by surprise

The front man strummed with a quiet fire
Turning angst into art, our hearts desire
His glance was fleeting, but it lit the spark
A melody hidden in the depths of the dark

We’ll play it cool but here’s the tea:
Your mystery really “did it for me”
To everyone who played, you gave it your all
A day to remember, we had a ball

Thursday night I had the honor of going to and learning a little about the important work they do and presenting the with a donation on behalf of , who competed on their behalf, and by winning the audience choice award at the battle, this non-profit, who had the Wood River Softball Team there on Wednesday to help them heal, won too.
Community, Charity, Music is what it’s all about.
