Today is Monday over in the VIP group- so with January wrapping up- it's time to start planning for all the February

Here is a fun little game that the kids will enjoy as part of your Valentine’s Day parties!

What youll need -
🩷bowl
💜chopsticks
🩵timer
❤️Package of those yummy little heart candies.

Place candies in the bowl & provide each child with a set of chopsticks.

Set a the timer & let the race begin- each child is to try to pick up as many candy hearts as they can with their chopsticks. When time is up, those with the most hearts wins.

Such a fun way to develop fine motor skills & patience during a themed activity!

This fun game doubles as a language & literary activity by encouraging children to read the sayings on the hearts. You can also incorporate math by discussing the patterns they see or can make with the hearts they have collected.

Great activity for a classroom party, Galentines, or a family game night !

Everywhere I look around-

It seemed more than fitting to share some of the designs Hubby & I come up with for our wedding day!

Orange 🧡 & Blue 💙 were the colors that set the stage- we opted for a rustic romantic feel for our wedding day.

Burlap runners, lace trim, fresh flowers, floating candles, lanterns & twinkiling helped make the mood feel just right.

The little details were everything to me & Hubby knew just how perfect I needed to be.

Planning a wedding in 6 months can be full of stress but working together we were up for the test.

Did everything go smooth and were there no flaws
NO NOT AT ALL...

But one thing I do know -
it wasn't frightfully dull, or boring, ... but completely wonderful. 💙🧡

It's wild to think that this dream has evolved naturally from doing that make heart & soul sing.

One of my oldest tricks I like to display when setting the mood for an A+ Event -

Chocolate dipped pretzels, oreos and strawberries 🍓 - this board features martini glasses filled with cotton candy - a garnish that was used for sweet mock/cocktails.

Not my design but -I know what me and my crew will be up to tomorrow ☺️- designing our den for the next special day we are looking forward to

This will be super easy & fun to re-create with any little sweethearts of yours!

🩷Gather Sticks - dry & clean loose dirt from them.
💜Make heart shapes from felt cardstick, foam or construction paper.
❤️Hot glue Hearts 💕 onto dry sticks to mimics flower blossoms & display in container(s) you L♡VE🌸
💁‍♀️Dont got the materials on hand to execute the plan PRO tip - hit your $ 🌳 or Walmart for everything you will need to make one you & yours will L♡VE for years to come.

It's over in my VIP A+ Design & Play group and since I am currently buried in an avalanche of sparkles ✨️, winter blues💙 & making dreams come true - it seemed more than fitting to share this picture with you ❄️

4️⃣ years ago this was one of the pictures that Rachelle Henderson viewed and our spark ✨️from college got reignited and she introduced me to JBloom -

I learned sooo many things in such a short amount of time & playing with graphics and media design, just blew my mind 🤯

Being a was great- but it just wasn't what this wanted to do.

Crafting, balloons, & theme parties to name a few were what I discovered I really wanted to do.

I said I wasn't going to send them this year and than I cracked 🤦‍♀️ went out and bought some generic holiday cards last minute this week-

Than I asked myself WHY? WHY- was I doing something last minute that I said I wouldn't do. Well because in my state of holiday feel good high I felt like I could do it- do it all...

But again I asked myself- Why?

Yes I could make it happen but at what cost?

Time away from my family during the evening wind down? Loss of sleep 😴? A few hours trapped at a table with a wrist that's sore from handwriting out addresses and or time behind a computer designing and printing to make it happen? These were all the reasons why I said I wasn't going to do them this year-

Time and Energy is extremely valuable to me anymore & yes I appreciate the time & energy of those who did make the time to send our family a holiday greeting.

I however did not want to make the time to send cards out this year, because I wanted to put time and energy into other things that settled my soul, and created peace and warmth in our home-

I'm thankful I choose to not go back on what I said I wouldn't do- even though I had a moment.

So to all my family & friends - I promise you if & when I re- enter the holiday card era you will all be on my list.

Happy Holidays to you & yours from Mama 🐻Bear & the rest of the den.

Another day & another design complete!

When one of my favorite clients asked for a grand & royal balloon garland fit for a queen 👸 mommy to bes - Birthday & Gender reveal I couldn't help but go extra for them!

May need to throw her mom on my design team- such a warm, inviting & beautifully decorated home!
