Ya get off work and it’s dark… soooo… yeah of course I did one last harvest to collect dried flowers. Flashlight flowers! It’s what all the flower peeps are doing in Idaho 🥶 💐. No idea what they’ll become 🤷‍♀️

Unique. What’s one word you would use to describe dahlias? It’s so hard!!!! So many varieties and constantly new creations being made. Nature is pretty bad ass isn’t it? Oops, that’s 2 words.

Yes I am an overstuffer! Had to take a big cut the other day cuz Mr frost 🥶 is on his way. Took some of the beautiful dahlias in to a coworker to enjoy 😊 they are just so dang pretty!!!

Some cut flowers that I've been growing in my yard, Mountain Home. The zinnia is kinda sad looking but the others looked pretty dang good. I love the movement in some of these flowers, bouncy bouncy! The standouts for me: feverfew, dusty miller, chocolate lace (dara/queen anne lace). Soon, I should have some dahlias (saw some buds coming on! yay!)

Great read and all the more reason to support our local farmers & producers. It's an interesting read to see how far some of those flowers/plants in the grocery store have flown, not to mention the who knows what chemicals these other countries are using. Buy locally grown, not flown!

A bouquet of flowers is the go-to gift for many special occasions but the world is paying a high price for transporting our out-of-season blooms.

How can you not love sunflowers? This is “white lite” and it is beautiful! Look at these perfect buttercream petals and all the detail in the yellow, the tiny tiny lil yellow flowers that become seeds. 🐝 🌻

Time to rip the bandaid off... It just ain't happening this year. So there ya have it! It's been a season of mechanical issues, new equipment purchases minus parts/hardware, and soooo many pest problems. Darn you, EARWIGS!!!!

I can't promise what hurdles I'll have to overcome next year, but I will definitely be giving it my all. Stick around, I will be back!! Thanks for the support and kindness along the way. Much love, folks!
