This is amazing!! Well done Party Kit Network and all the party kits who contributed to this awesome total!

I look forward to contributing to the total for next year! Reusasable party kits are such a brilliant idea! I hired a kit for my daughters 6th birthday this year and I loved how colourful it looked, was so impressed with the quality of the partyware and most of all I was amazed at how little I put in the bin!! Previous years I would have had a couple of bin bags of single use items but after her party this year we were putting scraps of left over food in the bin and that was it!!

This inspired me to set up Party Box Southampton and hope that I'll be able to help with Party Kit Network's vision of making parties more sustainable and reducing the amount of waste going to landfill 🎉🌎🎉🌎

Updated total! 📣… 77,240 and counting! 🥳

Each year we count up the number of single-use items avoided through hires of our members’ party kits.

Despite many kits being closed for all or part of the last year we have still managed to log over 77k items so far.

That’s 77,240 plates, cups, bowls and cutlery that were NOT thrown away because people switched to reusables. 💚👍

Isn’t that amazing?! 🤩

The party kit concept is still fairly new and reusable tableware is not yet the norm, but this just shows our potential to reduce waste. So we’re keeping the faith and looking forward to smashing that total in 2022.

A weekend full of parties for Party Box Southampton this weekend!!

Happy 6th birthday to Arthur who had a magic themed party! Arthur hired a big box for 30 which saved approximately 180 single-use party items going to landfill! 🎉🌎

Happy 3rd birthday to Zac who had a spider superhero themed party! Zac hired a big box for 15 which saved approximately 90 single-use party items going to landfill! 🎉🌎

The big box party pack starts from just £10 and comes with all the partyware you need to for a children's party. Colourful plastic plates, bowls, cups and cutlery, 2 x jugs, serving trays, a waterproof reusable tablecloth and reusable decorations.

I have a selection of decorations and serving trays to suit themes and party sizes.

Help reduce waste by hiring a Party Box - your reusable party kit in a box!

We have two party box packs available for up to 60 guests:
📦 BASIC BOX party pack - Colourful plastic plates, bowls, cups and cutlery. Tablecloth and jugs also included.
📦 BIG BOX party pack - Colourful plastic plates, bowls, cups and cutlery. Tablecloth, jugs, serving platters and decorations all included.

Prices for the kits are set with the aim of being cheaper than disposables and more convenient as we deliver to your door. Delivery is free (5 miles from SO30) or you can pickup. Once you have partied, return the kit...

AND then we do the washing up! 🚿

⭐️ Party kits are ideal for children's parties or could be used for events such a baby showers where only smaller plates would be required.

⭐ This party kit covers 5 miles of SO30 (Hedge end, Southampton). If that's not local to you, you could find another party kit at https://partykitnetwork.org/find

⭐ Collection and drop-off point in Hedge End (SO30 2TQ). Free delivery available within 5 miles of this postcode.

⭐ Once you’re finished with the kit simply drop off and we will do the washing up! All equipment is washed and disinfected between hires.

⭐ A 50% deposit will be required to secure the booking (If the party is cancelled due to illness or isolation and an alternative date is not an option I will return the deposit).

⭐ If an item of the kit is damaged then I would require the cost of the damaged item(s) to be paid as an addition to the hire fee so I can replace.

Additional precautions:

💙 Please cancel your booking if you or anyone in your household has any symptoms of COVID-19; this includes a cough, high temperature or loss of taste or smell.

💙 Please be aware that your booking may be cancelled if anyone in our household develops any symptoms of COVID-19 or the local lockdown restrictions change.
