SAN GENNARO FEAST OF THE HAMPTONS
SAN GENNARO’S FEAST OF THE HAMPTONS was created in 2010. It started out as an idea to bring our community together all in one place and enjoy great food, spectacular music, and family fun. A few local business owners got together at a meeting and created what started out as a small intimate feast to a large Suffolk County Event. People from all over the tri-state area come to join us to share this Italian heritage that slowly was disappearing. We scouted out local vendors in our community to share their business products at the feast. As the years started to surpass, we began to bring great music and entertainment for all to enjoy.. From local bands to top 100 artists on the Billboard charts. Trying to accommodate all types of music to all ages and still keep the Italian traditions. No one really sees all the hard work and months of preparing that our team puts into this great event. The endless hours and efforts of all the community gathering together to become one family for a whole weekend are truly amazing. All our committee donate their time to this great cause. Any profits that are made goes right back into the community to help support different causes that need our help. In 2017 we joined up with Shoebox Records and Mlicata Entertainment to help support a free concert at Good Ground Park in Hampton Bays. This concert now helps kick off our feast and sets the mood for the summer fun in the Hamptons and prepares us for the feast to be held usually at the end of September.
The San Gennaro’s Committee would like to thank our community and local business for their continued support for last several years. Without your dedication, donations and hard work, this event would not be possible. We look forward to bringing you not only great entertainment and great vendors, but giving you a great weekend to spend with your family and friends to create memories that will last you a lifetime!
