UPDATE:

This is an indoor show with Historic Harmony hosting it at the barn., and the barn is a great place for this concert. However. the weather gods indicate we will have to use the Steelworkers parking and the shuttle which runs from 5:00- 6:00 & 8:00- 9:00 PM. It's a short run and should make this convenient.

Please support the vendors even if it rains- come into the barn to eat. (And thoughtfully dispose of the rubbish) Thank you.

Dry Branch Fire Squad coming to town TOMORROW, playing at Harmony's Historic Barn. It's going to be a great show! Tickets have been selling fast, and tonight (May 16) at midnight is the your last chance to buy tickets online at the reduced rate. Friday, tickets will only be available at the gate starting at 4:30pm, $30 cash. Details below! Sponsored by Harmony in the House & Historic Harmony, Inc - Harmony Museum.

Last big push until next week. We are now accepting phone orders for those ticket site shy. 724.452.0539 - have your credit card ready and all sales are final. This is going to be a great show.

Dry Branch Fire Squad was founded by Ron Thomason, a former member of the Clinch Mountain Boys, in October 1976. They are named for a small town in Southwest Virginia where Thomason was born. The current band, including Ron, formed around Springfield, Ohio where he was principal of a local high school. Thomason, as the band's MC, lead singer, and mandolin player, also plays banjo and guitar with equal skill during performances often demonstrates hambone technique which he learned as a child. Their last appearance at the Harmony Barn in 2012 was an absolutely magical night and we hope you will join us for more magic.

It's not too early to start thinking about this special evening out. You may remember Mark Dawidziak from his lecture at Harmony in the House on his bio of American writer Jim Tully. Come see him and as he proudly proclaims, his much more talented wife, Sara, doing a performance of their collection of Poe stories and poems that night, along with an audience chat and book signing of his new book The Death and Life of Edgar Allen Poe. You won't want to miss this one
