Whoa, what a night! Thank you to all who braved the smoke for our first farm dinner. The food from Yardy Eugene was fresh and amazing. Thank you to Wandering Whiskey Mobile Bar Co. for keeping us hydrated. Good to see old friends and meet new ones. Maybe we’ll do it again next year.
When I’m flowering I really do think it’s similar to cooking great food, if you start with fresh quality ingredients and learn a few basics - you can’t help but have stellar results!

This is long winded so bear with me… something struck me as I was loading products into the back of my car today. While not the prettiest picture … this is what a healthy rural economy looks like. I bought these gorgeous lisianthus flowers from because I needed more white for a wedding. I stopped by so pick up some plants that I don’t grow for some new planting areas. I have two CSA goody bags from (one for me and one for ). Lastly, I would’ve purchased eggs from but they were all our, next time! But look at how many local businesses I can support because I have an active small business. This is what rural vitality means, local supporting local.

The sunnies are here!! Come get yourself some 🌞 self serve U-pick is open most days unless we have an event! We have to keep our gate closed for the doggies but if it says UPICK OPEN at the farm stand … c’mon in!
UPICK IS OPEN! Yay we are excited to welcome you out to the farm for self-serve UPick! 21055 Coburg Road. Turn in by flower stand. Open and CLOSE gate. (We have friendly labs who might say hi). Park past barn. You’ll see signage for Upick with supplies and instructions! Bring a bucket or vessel to take flowers home. We’ll have a limited amount of jars for purchase. Pricing is by canning ring size! $15-$25. Upick will be closed if you see an event or wedding sign at the road!
I got to do flowers at our place for Taylor and Coles wedding and it was pretty fun! Doing the arch was my favorite and I got some awesome locust branches from my friend Parker Learning Gardens Non-Profit!

We got some photos back from a Sorority Barn Dance that we hosted last month. It was their first barn dance hosted in an actual barn! What a hoot... and look at those outfits... yeehaw!
