I played at a School function last evening. As I fielded requests from students, I realize that there may be a problem. Parents, please step in and be involved in the downtime of your children. Social media and the music they want to hear, and are passionate about, is something you may want to check out. I raised daughters. I was that uncool Dad who dissaproved of what they wanted to see on TV (Beverly Hills 90210) and some music they wanted to hear (Californication). These examples are so benign is comparison.

Last nights most requested song, by more girls than boys, was “Carnival” by Kanye. Take a moment to check out the lyrics. If you love your daughters.

Be Prepared. This will shock you. As least it should.
