☀️🌸 Daily Devotion!

Today I listened to the “Beyond the Message” Podcast from pastor Chris with First Baptist Church in Bentonville. Here are some good points I got from this!

-Guard your mind against worry. Replacing worry with prayer.

-You can choose to dwell on not understanding, dwell on what you cannot control, dwell on your circumstances, OR you can give it to the Lord and leave.it.there.

I am so guilty of giving things I am worrying over to Jesus then after my prayers picking it right back up again and worrying.

-When these thoughts pop back up just say to yourself
“I gave that to the Lord.”

-Christian Life = Battle of the Mindset

-Peace is directly correlated to praise and prayer.

Praise = Vocal expression to others and to God of your faith and trust.

Prayer = Vocal expression to God of your faith and trust.

- Engaging in the spiritual battle with praise, prayer, and scripture is a statement to the enemy and people who listen.

- When you are vocal to God it allows you to become aware of the prayers he is answering.

-The pursuit of going to God develops the person. Making your requests known but surrendering it to “not my will but thy will be done”

-Peace must have praise and prayer. Your peace is directly connected to your ability to praise and pray when you do and do not feel like it!

-We should be so busy praising and praying that we have no time for thoughts of worry to creep in.

-Prayer is inviting God into the spiritual war in your mind in order for HIM to win the battle.

-Prayer = your declaration of dependence on God

☀️💗 Goodmorning! Daily Devotion Time!

Proverbs 16:9 has been a verse that God has consistently used to grow and bring me closer to striving for his will for my life.

I have learned that I Idolized control, constantly struggle with being self-sufficient and often times have unbelief in Gods plan and question the way he chooses to act.

I began my morning listening to the Central Baptist paragould message and would love to share some amazing points I got from this.

- When we don’t operate in faith our spiritual relationship with God begins to rust.
- living in unbelief, making it all happen ourselves, not allowing God to get involved

-Being in Gods word, worship, attending Church are all vital things, but FAITH must be present in our relationship with God.

-You and I have the ability to STOP the work of God un us, our family, our home, or our business IF you choose to operate without Faith.

-When Jesus was walking the earth God was working in away that the people did not like.

-It becomes a problem when we look at how God begins to work and say “I wouldn’t do it like this” “Why did you/did you not do this God?”

-When you and I think that God Should work how WE think he should work we are operating in UNBELIEF.

-Gods ways are not our ways.

-People are not born Atheists. Atheists can often be produced in the church by people who say one thing and act another way. (leaders that they put their trust in that betray their trust and hurt them)

-There was a story of a man who became an Atheist when be was heavily involved in church, prayer, and worship. Praying for this major opportunity that would be financially beneficial to him and his family. The opportunity fell through and the man stated “That was the day I stopped believing because, I would never have done that to my child.”

-If you say you are going to worship God to get what I ask and pray for that isn’t how it works.
-He gives us what we need.
-He gives us him.

-Unbelief Blinds us.
-Unbelief Binds us. Suppressing the Power of God

-God will often Stop or Restrict his work until his people pray.
-Faith is most often displayed through prayer. You are praying over a situation relinquishing any pride in yourself stating your faith in him saying “God I know I can’t do it, but You can.”

-Faith unlocks the fierceness of Gods will.

-You can cause Jesus to marvel at your unbelief or you can cause Jesus to marvel at your belief.

-do not ever back down. If God is calling you to something say YES.

☀️🌸 Daily Devotion!!

Today I started my morning with the May 5th message from Sugarloaf Baptist and would love to share some of the amazing points that I got from this!

John 7:25-31

-There was so much rejection of Jesus.
-Most of the Jewish leaders at this time would rather have had religious prestige rather than Jesus’ presence.
-Religion is not Salvation.
-Religion will not get you to heaven.

-Sometimes we can look at a person, family member, spouse, friend, and begin to put spiritual limits on that person. DO NOT write people off. God can do things with people no matter what anyone else thinks!

-You can know who Jesus is, believe in him, not be against him, but still not allow him to be the Lord of your life or have your faith placed in him!

-There is no middle ground with Christianity
- There is nothing wrong with enjoying friends.
- There is nothing wrong with enjoying family.
- There is nothing wrong with enjoying possessions.
- There is nothing wrong with having fun.
- There is nothing wrong with having hobbies or interests.

*It is Just whether or not Jesus is FIRST in your life.

•Their are people that know Jesus is important, but they know Jesus isn’t first in their life.

•For Jesus to be first in your life it will always require you to surrender all to him.

There was a rich man that “had it all.”
-be was young
-he was wealthy
-he had a position

But he was missing something and came to Jesus with this question,

“I’ve obeyed all these commandments,” the young man replied. “What else must I do?” Jesus told him, “If you want to be perfect, go and sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.””

•God can tell you what is first in your life.
It is on your heart right now. You know what has you more than he does.

•God cannot just have a little part of your life. You have got to surrender it all.

☀️🌸 Goodmorning!! Daily Devotion time!
I began this morning listening to a sermon from the First Baptist Church we used to attend when living in Bentonville, and these two verses were preached on. Here are a few key points that I gathered from this.

-Only God can produce his spiritual fruits, not your actions.

-Things can rob you from Joy
-Circumstances can rob you from Joy
-People can rob you from Joy
-Worry can rob you from Joy
but only when your happiness is rooting from happenstance meaning that you are “happy” when all of your circumstances fall into place perfectly.

Gods joy overcomes all circumstances.

-Praise is the path to Peace
-You don’t need a good moment to praise God, you just need a good God.

-Do you really have a *Daily Time with God?
This is greater than just reading a devotion or just reading scripture. This is Praise, worship, prayer, devotion, and seeking God to speak through his word.

-Prayer is the path to Peace

Often times we look all over for a solution another person, ourselves, social media, ect. then when all else fails we state, “well all we can do now is pray.” Prayer is our FIRST hope not our last. We look all around us for the solution when we just need to look up.

-You need to pray because God is near. God is available. God is able.

-Prayer = Devotion and Worship to God
-If you are serious about your relationship with God you will get serious about prayer.
-God will allow circumstances to pressure you to push you back to him.
-Prayer = cultivating the presence of God
-Worship is not a place to go, it is a life to live.

📖💗I am a little late to the day, but something new that I want to start will be a daily devotional shared to the page.

I have highlighted two verses that stood out to me from todays reading and feel that it is only right to share a bit of the Testimony that came with “Matthew 6:30 Co.” I have always had a love for flowers but just assumed it would always be just that. I was in a season of growing, waiting, and praying for over 7 months just seeking Gods will. Initially I began looking into flowers to grow in my garden when I first heard the verse Isaiah 61:11. I have pictured below me sharing to our family group text the way this verse impacted me at that first moment on February 28 of this year.(don’t mind that it is typed wrong as Luke 61:11 in the text oops 😅) As time passed and I kept praying and waiting I came across the verse Matthew 6:30 NLT and I knew then that if God ever blessed me with a way to share my love of flowers that would be the buisness name. It would all be in his time, will, and all for his Glory. A few months passed by and I feel that he just said “Go for it.” So here we are!

I hope this reaches whoever needs it and maybe we can all find something positive out of these little daily devotions!
