BSBBQ is in! How about you and your business.
I’ll do a BBQ lunch raffle drawing / here’s the deal- you share the post, make a donation of at least 3 coats (include your business card with the donation), come back to this post and comment that you made the donation, and BSBBQ will provide a lunch to the winner of the drawing for you and your employees (up to 15 people).
Cold weather is just around the corner. We don’t want to see any child in Berkeley County without a coat this winter.
Last year BCPFF’s Local 5045 purchased 90 coats and distributed them around the county to different schools for children that did not have a coat to wear. This year we want to step up the game and make sure every child without a coat gets one.
In the next couple of weeks Local 5045 representatives will be reaching out to Berkeley County School guidance counselors and administrator’s to get an idea of how many coats each school will need. (They handle the distribution to the children for confidentiality purposes)
If you personally or your business would like to contribute to our “Coats For Children Program” we would be very grateful of your support. In addition to the coats L-5045 purchases and distributes we will collect new coats from donors similar to the USMC’s “Toy for Tots” program. Our goal is to deliver all the coats to the schools no later than the beginning of Thanksgiving break.
Coats can be dropped off to Berkeley County Fire Department personnel at Station 30 Hedgesville Volunteer Fire Company, Station 40 Bedington Volunteer Fire Department (main station on Bedington Rd.), Station 20 South Berkeley Volunteer Fire Company, and Station 50 Back Creek Valley Volunteer Fire Department between the hours of 6am to 6pm Monday through Friday.
Let’s all pitch in and keep Berkeley County warm this winter.
Thank you all for your continued support
***Please NEW (never worn before / with tags attached) coats only***
