Robert N. "Bob," Gilbert age 77, of Helena, passed away June 12, 2023. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Anderson Stevenson Wilke Funeral Home, 3750 North Montana Avenue, Helena. A wake will follow at Nickels, 2100 North Last Chance Gulch in Helena. A warehouse tour will be held the same day at 10:00 a.m., at 1410 Birch St., Helena. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to The Montana Woolgrower Memorial Fund, P. O. Box 1693, Helena, MT, 59624. Ashton Butler is Singer/songwriter born and raised in Murray Utah. Growing up he was always influenced by all genres of music. Anything from classic rock and blues to modern day pop music. In his early years he was part of and performed with many garage bands and took part in many battle of the bands competitions. Going to many concerts growing up was a big part of the reason he is pursuing this career. In 2015 Ashton made his first trip to Nashville Tennessee, where he fell in love with the music scene and what it has to offer. In 2020, Ashton began releasing original music. From Blues driven ballads to country infused rock, Ashton has made it clear that he will try anything and everything when it comes to new music.

Canyon Ferry Lake reservoir conceals the submerged town of Canton, including its cemetery, strategically situated atop a hill that escaped flooding during the construction of the Canyon Ferry Dam. The dam, built between 1949 and 1954, replaced an older dam and created Montana's third-largest lake. Cemetery Island holds graves ranging from the late 1800s to 2000.

Lenny’s love of tacos was a big reason we had a taco bar at our wedding. It was fairly simple to cater ourselves and included Local Montana Elk Meat, Seasoned Chicken and Black Beans. 🌮 We also kept it simple and just offered beer and wine options and of course lemonade and flavored water. 🍋

This is where we threw tradition out the window! FLOWER GUYS instead of Flower Girls. It was SO FUN having our son and son-in-laws be our flower guys.

These beautiful and functional barn doors were hand crafted by Lennys brother as a wedding gift! Getting them hung was no easy task, each door weighs over 300 pounds, luckily we had help.

They make such a huge impact and create the perfect backdrop both inside and outside of the barn.

In October of 2022 we paid a visit to the current owners of the ranch that Lenny grew up on and the namesake of our barn. They were so kind to us and so excited for our new venture that they let us rehome a couple of pieces of antique farm equipment. After more than a decade of sitting idle in a cow pasture and with the help of a neighbor (true ranching style) we were able to get it loaded onto a trailer and brought a few miles to our property.
This spring it will become the centerpiece of a new flower garden at The Lone Pine Barn and will serve as a beautiful, rustic backdrop to photos at weddings and other events.

Happy First Day of Spring. Soaked and then planted Anemones and Ranunculus corms today. So excited to grow a flower garden for all of the weddings we have this year. Hoping to turn an old hay field into a sea of flowers. 🌸 🌺 💐
This is my first time attempting to grow cutting flowers, wish me luck. ☘️
