Attention all music lovers and festival-goers! Music festival season is in full swing- with two festivals down and 3 more to go we felt it’s time to mark those calendars and SAVE THE DATE for one of Henderson’s highly anticipated events is coming back!

The Bluegrass in the Park Folklife Festival is a celebration of bluegrass music and folklife, featuring some of the most talented and respected bluegrass bands and musicians from around the country. From traditional to modern, this festival has it all, and you won't want to miss a single note.

In addition to the amazing music, there will be plenty of food and drink options to enjoy, folklife activities, as well as local artisan vendors offering unique and handmade goods for you to check out! Bluegrass in the Park provides a family-friendly atmosphere, this is the perfect event to bring the whole gang along!

So mark your calendars for August 9-10th, 2024 and get ready for an unforgettable weekend of bluegrass music, food, and fun at the Bluegrass in the Park Folklife Festival in Henderson, Kentucky. We can't wait to see you there!

We love Christmas at HCPL! Each year our program grows and this year it has a new name! Don’t worry it’s still very much “Christmas at the Library” but with an added twist! 🎄

❄ Bring the entire family to the library on Sunday, December 10th from 1:30-5:00 PM! We will have lots of fun activities, snacks, special guests, take-home activities, and much more! Also, feel free to bring a donation for our Annual Giving Tree Village!
