This weekend was a whole new experience for me. For the first time, I participated in an iris show. This show was in Cape Girardeau, sponsored by SEMO Iris Society. I entered 18 stems and one floral arrangement. To my surprise I did very well. I received 12 blue ribbons, with 3 of them at the Court of Honor table. The biggest surprise was winning BEST SPECIMEN OF THE SHOW! What at treat for a "newbie" to the show world.
