Haven’t been to in ages - until last week. Exploring the foodie options - I was pulled in the direction of the amazing aroma of lamb cooked with cumin! Check out - the coolest part was their take home “meal kits”! All of the ingredients are boxed individually! I took two home for the boys and was able to recreate the delish experience!

Arizona Diaries - Old Town Scottsdale
A cute walkable downtown! So much to see & explore! After a yummy Mexican dinner - we headed to “Dessert”.

Highly recommend ! Adorable 1950s Ice Cream Parlor with arcade games in the back! The Family Circus cartoons were so fun!

Arizona Diaries - Next Stop - The Grand Canyon!

On our way to the Grand Canyon from Sedona we decided to take the scenic route (was about 5 minutes longer - or - so we thought!) Google maps connected to the Rental Car’s “Car Play” had reset itself from our original input! (Blaming spotty reception) Instead of taking us to Grand Canyon Village (my orig input) we ended up @ Grand Canyon’s National Park’s entrance! Of course we only realized this when all of a sudden we noticed our different cellphones were showing two different timezones!!!

On the driver’s side of the car it was 1:39pm and on the passenger side - the time was 2:39pm !! Totally freaked us out as we had a tour booked!! Turned out that the longer route ended up taking us next to a Navajo reservation, which was a different time zone from Arizona’s time zone! Who would have thought this was possible! Thankfully once we got to the GC National Park - we got the hour back!!

Of course the boys & my husband were trying to watch the Man City vs Bayern game when in the middle of the desert! ⚽️🤣⚽️

Entering the Grand Canyon from the National Park we were able to see some amazing views that would not have been visible from the Grand Canyon Village Entrance.

Amazed by the snow! We had heard that Park got over 50 FEET of snow the last few weeks! #

One of my most favorite places to visit in Sedona was - a beautiful Buddhist temple of peace and love. 🙏♥️Nestled in the mountains - we had the pleasure of meeting Angel (a devoted volunteer) - who for us was truly an angel. So grateful for many things - finding a space to meditate and be mindful was just just what I needed. We spend so much of our time running from one place to another - this escape for me was truly priceless!

A full day of Sedona! Highly recommend the rugged - our guide Preston was fantastic! The views along the way - priceless! There’s so much that can be “be seen” from the rocks! My boys pointed out winnie the poh with a pot of honey on his belly for days! Lunch was delish (chicken & shrimp fajitas & of course had to try the Sedona salad!) Be sure to try their prickly margaritas while taking in an amazing view! Dinner was amazing - my favorite was the Tiger Shrimp Tamal & so the many unique Margaritas to choose from!

Our First International Diversity Fair was a huge success! From intense planning sessions to collaborations with our partners and sponsors - developing relationships with our vendors and like minded community organizations- it was amazing how everyone came out to celebrate and enjoy each other’s culture! Last but definitely not least to our friends and volunteers we could not have done this without you! ♥️

This is just the beginning of great things to come!

A hidden gem in the City of Orange, NJ. Amazing ambiance - perfect workspace to escape to or spend chatting with friends. Treats & Coffee were delish! The owner Fatima was amazing to chat with - having only met her for the first time - we both felt like we had known each other for the longest time! wishing you the best always!
