This weather makes me want spring now! I’ll be making some spring wreaths and decor to post soon. I have more of that beautiful forsythia that’s sitting on my mantle and the metal pitchers. If you are wanting a forsythia arrangement or wreath then send me a message and I’ll get it fixed up for you. Also, I’m thinking I’ll do a spring centerpiece class soon so keep your eye out for more info coming on that.

Who is interested in doing a Thanksgiving centerpiece class? I’ve been missing my creative side since closing down the shop so let’s do this! Class will be Monday evening at 6pm. Cost is $35. Message me on here to reserve a spot. If I have enough interest I’ll do a second night or a daytime class.

It's time to say goodbye. I opened Vaughn House Flowers 6 1/2 years ago when it was just Jonathan Vaughn and myself. I poured my heart into making this place a reality and met some of my very best friends through this shop. I've loved getting to meet you, learn your favorite flowers, colors and all the little things that make up who you are. Three and a half years ago our world changed when we opened our home and our hearts to our first foster baby. Since then we have adopted 3 of the most beautiful little souls. Over the last year I have repeatedly heard myself say "When life slows down I want to do..... with the kids", "If we have time I want to make.... with the kids." You get the picture. This year it's time to make my family a priority. It's time to make life slow down so that I can stop working around everyone else's special moments and celebrate our own special moments as a family. In the crazy world that we are living in I want to be the calm for my kids and my husband instead of the crazy running in the door at the last minute and rushing back out after bedtime to finish orders. You'll still see me around (hopefully looking less frazzled and better put together). I'll still be making things and occasionally posting them online. I'd even like to still do the occasional wedding because I love those happy moments! Who knows....maybe I'll miss the chaos and come back after the kids start school. For now, I'll see you around! I'll be here the rest of this week finishing up.

If you are planning on opening a store of some kind, come see me. I have some open signs and the Apple Point of Sale system with the cash register, stand, card reader, etc. I can make you a deal.

Have you seen the Willow Tree Starry Night Nativity? ❤️❤️❤️ We have it along with other Willow Tree Nativities and pieces. They shipped to us a month and a half late and then we ended up closed because of Covid but they are so worth the wait. Stop in and check them out or call us and we can deliver. We’ll even wrap it up if it’s a gift for someone. 🎁

We’re back in the shop and have beautiful Christmas decor and gifts to spruce up your house for the holiday season or to spread some holiday cheer with your friends and family. If you’d like to shop but are concerned about crowds gather up a couple friends or family and call me to make an appointment for evening or weekend shopping. You’ll have the place to yourself so you can shop without worry. You must have a minimum of 3 shoppers to schedule an appointment after hours. 270-358-7673

Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours! This year we are going to have an extended Thanksgiving break due to one of the kids being exposed to Covid at daycare. He is still healthy and fine at this time. We should be able to return December 3rd.

Last year I did a Thanksgiving centerpiece class with these adorable pumpkin containers. I was planning on doing so again this year but Covid happened. That rules out any big classes. Would anyone be interested in doing a one on one class or a class with just a couple people at a time? I don’t know about you all but I need some girl time in my life and pretty flowers to offset all of this craziness. Contact me to schedule a time for just you or for you and a friend. We will social distance and I’m wiping the shop down with Clorox wipes frequently to keep all of my customers as safe as possible.
