The Annual Memorial Day Parade hosted by the American Legion Post 1479 will be held on Sunday May 26th at noon. Lineup will begin at Smoke Stacks at 11:00 a.m. This year’s theme is ‘Honoring the Women of the American Legion.’ We will be lining up marchers and youth organizations on Mill Street. Please do not park at or block off the church as they have service at that time. Larger groups, floats and vehicles will be lining up in the Kastowa Parking lot. Thru traffic will stopped at 11:50 a.m. Have a safe and happy Memorial Day everyone!

Next Saturday we will be having our annual party with $5, $10 and $20 horse pools with 100% winnings and a contest for best hats with prizes! Please bring a dish to share and stop by for your chance to win! There is no official party start time but the horses leave the gate at a projected time of 6:57 p.m. Join us for the most exciting 2 minutes in sports and good luck!

Members needed. US Army Veteran Carl Terrance has passed. We will attend his service to render Full Military Honors. After the monthly meeting we will meet back at the Legion at 1:00pm. His service is at New Life Christian Church frogtown rd near Heart to Heart gym.
