Ciao a tutti! Are you curious about the origins of Tasteitalian ! , and the reason behind that exciting exclamation mark? Buckle up, food&Italian Life Style lovers, because we're about to embark on a delicious journey!
How it all began:
Tasteitalian ! wasn't born 10 years ago out of some corporate boardroom. It sprouted from a genuine passion for Italian Excellence - food/craftsmanship/technology- simmering in the heart of Tuscany. It all started with my husband and partner in crime Stefano Pecchioli and my Team at Making Business Happen who shared my vision: to make the Italian Excellence go global!
We dreamt of sharing this love with the world, of bringing people together over plates piled high with authentic Italian goodness and let them learn more about the culture behind.

The name itself is a reflection of our mission. We wanted something that captured the essence of what Italian Excellence means to us:

Chef Emanuele Bearzi

Emanuele Bearzi, originally from Milan, has been leading the Ristorante Fratelli Milano since 2006, a family-owned and operated Italian restaurant located in Downtown . His career began in 1990 in Milan as Pastry Chef at Vecchia Milano. Then, he held the role of Pastry Chef for numerous prestigious restaurants including “Sant Ambroeus” in Milan, “Caffe' Milano” in Miami - where he moved in 1991 -, “Il Forno Del Caffe' Milano” Miami, “Pelican Hotel” in Miami.
Among his most important recognitions the award as 2nd place of the 11th annual contest for the best pastry chef in the region of Lombardy.
Today Emanuele runs the Ristorante Fratelli Milano with his brother Roberto Bearzi, and together craft regional Italian dishes inspired by their mother’s Milanese kitchen. Since opening in 2006, the restaurant has become a local favorite, known for its reasonably-priced, soulful fare.

Alessandro Kakol , born in Naples on May 8, 1997 today is the Executive Chef of Like Mike Italian Taste Restaurant in , which is part of the Lucio Giordano Hospitality Group.
His passion for cooking developped under the influence of the television program Hell's Kitchen.
Graduated from the IPSAR Carmine Russo Hotel Institute in Cicciano, he has made a career going from local trattorias to restaurants recognized in the Michelin guide.
Chef Kakol holds numerous professional certificates including Mastery of Pasta Making and Art of Ice Cream.

Chef Andrea Marchesin directs Toscana Divino ’s open Italian kitchen the same way a conductor leads a symphony, blending diverse, flavorful ingredients and innovative techniques with traditional Italian dishes. His culinary approach is a result of his global experience, which includes serving as a private chef, training in his native , and even a year spent working alongside a Maitre Cuisinier and local farmers in the Haute Savoie region of France. These experiences heightened his commitment to local, sustainable ingredientes.

Chef Gianluca Calisi
The Pelican Cafe

Originally from San Felice Circeo, a small town in the Italian region of Lazio, the young emerging chef Gianluca Calisi developed a passion for cooking at a very young age, simply by watching his mother in the kitchen. Growing up in a seafront town, he excelled in seafood cuisine and from a young age wanted to bring his experience to the US. Gianluca has worked in the best seafood restaurants in his hometown and the surrounding areas, infusing his love for authentic Italian cuisine with a modern twist. After several years of working in various kitchens, he relocated to in 2022.

In Miami, Gianluca settled in the MiMo neighborhood, where he was recognized with the Gambero Rosso International Award of 2 forks in 2023, and by the Accademia della as the best-emerging restaurant in November 2022.

Recently, he joined the Pelican Cafe team to showcase his techniques to a more diverse international clientele, where he believes he is more aligned, taking on the role of Executive Chef for the Pelican Hotel team.
Gianluca brings his passion for combining the traditions of Italian home cooking with an innovative and modern culinary approach, especially when it comes to seafood.
