2024 Grant Opportunity for Artists!

Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts

This grant opportunity is funded by CFWM's ValleyCreates Program and is administered by MASS MoCA’s Assets for Artists (A4A) program. The focus is a capacity-building and sustainability initiative for artists who currently live or have studio space in Franklin, Hampshire, or Hampden counties in Massachusetts.

The program pairs a $2,500 grant with coaching, workshops, business/career building and personal financial literacy resources, and artist community-building. View more about program resources on our website.

Applicants should be aged 18+ and may be an artist of any discipline (painters, sculptors, installation artists, new media artists, craft artisans, designers, film-makers, photographers, performers, writers, musicians, thespians, dancers, etc.). Funding cannot support artists who previously received a Capacity-Building Grant (formerly known as Working Capital grants) or ValleyCreates Project Evolution grants.

Join forces with Fundraiser @ White Hut Holyoke to support Ashton Conroy’s courageous battle

Holyoke, Ma – White Hut Holyoke is asking the community to join forces in supporting Ashton Conroy, a courageous young boy battling acute myeloid leukemia. Ashton, the son of Holyoke Police Officer Crystal Conroy, is currently
undergoing treatment at Boston Children’s Hospital.

From May 3 to May 5, White Hut Holyoke will donate fifteen percent of all in-store and online sales will be donated to help cover Ashton’s journey toward recovery.

“We are proud to stand alongside Ashton and his family during this challenging time,” said White Hut Holyoke managing partner Nick Yee. “Our community has always rallied together in times of need, and now is no different.

By dining with us or ordering online, you are directly contributing to Ashton’s care and showing the power of our community.”

The public is invited to join to support Ashton Conroy and to visit White Hut Holyoke from May 3 to May 5.
