My 14 year old took this today on his phone. We’ve been learning about composition, and I’m so proud of how he captured the shoreline, the textures of the sand, and the rhythm of the waves. It’s a reminder that creativity can start anywhere with just your eye and your perspective. 🌊✨

DANGLING CARROTS! Its ok to say no.

One thing God has shown me is to stop chasing dangling carrots like a horse.

The world is full of shiny promises, quick rewards, temporary attention, empty affirmations that look like nourishment but leave you hungry. Those carrots dangle just out of reach, keeping you running in circles, exhausted but never fulfilled. They distract you from the table God has already prepared for you, where the food is real, sustaining, and eternal.

God doesn’t need you to perform for scraps. He has already called you His own. Purpose doesn’t dangle in front of you like bait; it is planted within you, waiting to be cultivated. Discernment teaches you to recognize the difference between opportunities that feed your spirit and distractions that feed only your ego.

When you stop chasing what was never meant for you, you make room for what is. You stop running in circles and start walking in alignment. You begin to realize that your worth is not measured by how many carrots you catch, but by how deeply you trust the One who leads you beside still waters.

Let the distractions fall. Let the imitations hang in the air untouched. You were not created to live like a horse chasing what is always just out of reach. You were created to walk with God, steady and secure, knowing He provides what no dangling carrot ever could.
