Here is all the non-perishable items collected so far. Not pictured is all of the frozen food that's in the freezer that was donated, also the items that people are holding at their homes until we are ready to load the trailer. Water, hydration drinks, bread from Bertinot's Best Bakery and Mr. Po-Boy - West Side, supplies from Brooke's Sno-World .....the list goes on! I appreciate those who trust me in doing the right things with their generous contributions. I am in no way a scammer.

PS...the 6 totes stacked are loaded with various items for the babies affected by all of this.

For those of you who know me personally, I am always looking to help anyone in need. Hence the reason we started The Slingin' Kroux . Well this morning I have had over 5 DM's saying that I'm scamming people out of supplies we need here in our town. This has really stabbed me in the heart. We're not a big time group like the Cajun Navy or any other big group, but I am helping out as much as we can. For those of you who have purchased and sent items, Y'all know who you are......THANK YOU FROM THE VERY BOTTOM OF MY HEART!

We will probably be leaving and making our way to the affected areas of hurricane Helene around the 20th. We are working with a few local authorities to get a location. We will go to where we are needed most. We are planning to cook and feed for a few days days. If we can bring enough food with us, we will do more meals. We definitely need your help! Here is a list of needed items. Like always, we can also take donations and use money to buy what is needed to fill in.

Mark your calendars for Saturday September 28th. Bayou Blue Recreation Organization is having their Fall Festival and Jambalaya cook-off. They are also hosting a co****le tournament. The Slingin' Kroux did about 250 meals today. A special thanks to Bottoms Up and Bougie Bologna. Everyone loved the sandwiches we brought to them.
