It was an honor to know and learn from such an honorable human being. Even as recent as this past week, we shared texts of scriptures and strength. I am devastated that the lioness for our community has transitioned and saddened for what is to come. District 18 can be reassured that the fight for equality and betterment of quality of life will continue. Prayers to the family and friends during this time.. The Legacy of SJL is the foundation for yesterday, today, and tomorrow. I love and will miss you dearly!
