Thank you to everyone who came out to support FCMLLC and The Uptown Theatre to see Barry Corbin. Andrew McCarroll said this was the best attendance he has had since opening the theater.
We had people drive from all over Texas to come see the show. Barry even had distant relatives and several childhood friends attend.

Also in attendance was Jae Head (S.J. - The Blindside) and David Valdez (George Bush, Sr.‘ s photographer).

Kenny Graves did such an amazing job moderating the show! Barry & Jo both said he was the best they have ever worked with!

The audience asked such insightful questions, they really did their research on Barry’s life! Covering every topic from his life growing up in West Texas, his father’s political career, “catch phrases” from some of our favorite movies, honors he has received, along with so many amazing stories. Sharing his wisdom, humor and “precious” memories/stories.

Barry stayed until every last picture was taken and every autograph signed.

Barry Rogers, Wayne Public Relations thank you so much for your patience and persistence. It only took us two years to finally do An Evening with Barry Corbin but it was definitely worth the wait!

Thank you to David Horner for doing such a great job on sound.

After the show we returned to the hotel and this will always be one of my favorite memories. I kicked off my boots, sitting indian style and chatting with Barry, Jo & Mary. Shortly after arriving these two ladies checked in and I had noticed them kinda hanging around … they finally got up the courage to walk over and ask … are you … as Barry stood up and said “yes” the teenage girl said, “I knew it I recognized your voice”.

I’m not sure who was more surprised them or Barry … he couldn’t believe a teenager was such a fan.

Barry this proves your talent spans generations and you are truly carrying the torch for the true Texas Cowboys!

Such an honor to work with you and I look forward to doing it again, hopefully in 2024!!!

What a way to end the event year! Mary we did it 😊.

I have been a fan of Barry Corbin since I was a kid! Yesterday I had the opportunity to work with him and today I’m honored to call him and his beautiful wife Jo friends.

We had such a great time eating lunch and listening/telling stories. Today was extremely special, no cameras or fan moments, just hanging out with this authentic Texas Cowboy who is truly one of the nicest, funniest and wisest people I have ever met!

Jo you are a rock star and the love, admiration and respect y’all have for each other is beautiful …

Kenny Graves you always have the most insightful questions! Elaine Webb Graves so glad we got to celebrate your birthday!

The stories you could never dream/imagine or make up… we ended our meal by sharing a single dessert family style ❤️!

What a great way to wrap up the 2023 concert & dance series with my favorite Texas Dancehall band … The Stateline Band with special guest Jillian Hudson Music.

Thank you to Slim, Kris, Laura and the staff at Gravity Check Saloon and Arena it was great to be back. If you are visiting the Kerrville area be sure to go check them out! The venue is beautiful, music is always playing, great dance floor and the food and staff are amazing!!!

Be sure to follow Jillian on social media. This 15 year old definitely is a rising star in the Texas Country Music scene and is already building a loyal fan base. Thanks to her fans that drove to support her music. What a talent, amazing vocals, a large catalog of original songs and great cover choices. So excited to see where her talent leads. With her dad providing harmonies, mom as manager and big sis, her biggest fan, Jillian is surrounded by family to support her dreams and guide her down the right path.

Jody Dominguez, Scott Zajicek, Stan Scantling, Jeff James, Kris Gordon & Tina Turner … AWESOME 👏 👏 👏 show and Tina did an amazing job on fiddle filling in for Haydn!!! Talking with some of the attendees, y’all definitely gained some new fans, it also says something about your loyal fan base, when people are willing to drive from Temple to see y’all! It’s always fun seeing who you invite to perform with y’all … whether it be Jillian, an old friend from your hometown or a fan 😊.

Thank y’all for everything this year, opening the first show with Rick Trevino (Official), playing a new venue in Pipe Creek, opening for the legendary Moe Bandy in my hometown and closely out the year! Can’t wait to see what we do together in 2024!

A special thanks to Jarmon Willis, you are an incredible sound man! Mary Williams, your smile lights up a room, so glad you are the first person people see when they arrive at our shows! Aaron Hedrick your work ethic and dedication to capturing the best pics & video blow me away! Can’t wait to see the “recap” to be released later this week!

Lisa Hannon Zajicek thanks for bringing your friends, I love watching new people become fans! Although the band brought us together, you have become such a good friend and prayer warrior in my circle!

But none of this would be possible without the ticket buyers & walk ins that are willing to spend their hard earn money to support a woman owned business, local venues and the musicians who work together to keep the dancehall music scene going.
