I always hear people ask, "When is the best time to get married?"
My response is, "Anytime is a good time as long as you both are truly ready"!

Some key elements to a great, long-lasting, happy, successful marriage are:
Getting to truly know each other and what you both want out of the marriage before making the commitment, Having a good mate, Keeping your morals in your marriage, Effective communication, Be a good listener (always consider each others feelings), Being the best of friends, Unconditional love and understanding, Respect each other in private and in public (this most definitely goes both ways), Setting boundaries, Trust, Support and encourage each other (you should be your spouse's biggest cheerleader), Know that you will sometimes have to agree to disagree, Forgiveness (never go to bed angry...talk it out), Acceptance (remember why you fell in love and don't try to change each other down the line), Take responsibility for your actions, Never take one another for granted, Keep dating one another, Don't forget to keep the romance and intimacy alive, Compliment one another, Never use hurtful words towards one another (even when your upset because once it's said, you can't take it back), Practice patience, and last but definitely not least, Pray together and offer grace to each other,

Remember...Marriage takes work, and just like anything else in life, you both have to do the work to reap the rewards.
