Tell us about yourself as a fighter and person. Who are you and what makes you tick?
As a fighter? I'm looking for a way to expand upon the method. As the method has been working pretty well. As a person? I reckon I'm not really at liberty to say. I watched The Breakfast Club last night, though. So I guess you see me as you want to see me lolllllll. Olives piss me off.
You had a pretty spectacular finish in earning that belt (R2 TKO vs. Tyler Thackson at Elevate Fighting Championship Amateur Series 6). Did that fight go exactly as you expected?
Yes and no. I did what we planned, though I hoped for more from Tyler.
What does it mean to defend that title?
It means the foreword has concluded, and the prologue had begun.
Your opponent Doug McFarland is pretty confident. Did you read his interview?
Yes, I read it. I suppose he needs to feel the madness to understand the method. And it's my responsibility to ensure his comprehension.
How do you expect this fight to go and what can we expect from you in the future?
I'm learning not to expect anything anymore, as I've been left disappointed as of late. Nonetheless, he's an above average athlete, so it should be quite an enjoyable time. And as of what to expect from me? Don't, I'll exceed them every time.
Any last words, anybody you want to thank etc before the fight?
I'd like to thank Oscar Secada, John Stelly, Devon sparks, Warren Smith, and my training partners. They've gifted me all that I have amalgamated into what you see today.
