My Passion for Decorating

Growing up, I never imagined I will be an event stylist or decorator one day. I am a nurse by profession. Most of my friends told me I’m in the wrong profession, that I should have been an interior decorator. I told them I am in the right profession, I love nursing. It just happens that besides my passion for caring sick people, I also have my passion for decorating homes, any space and any event, transforming a dream wedding into a reality, a birthday extra special and any event meaningful and memorable.

When I was growing up, I love to decorate and re-arrange our home. I noticed I have an eye for beautiful things and making sure everything matches or if not, cohesive with the flow may it be the color palette, texture or design. A couple of years ago, I began volunteering to decorate my friend’s homes for free and planning styling my friend’s events to make it more beautiful and special. I discovered that I loved doing it, I am happy and fulfilled seeing the smiles on their faces when I see them WOWed at the outcome. Since then, it became my passion. Without expecting anything in return, without cost, I would gladly offer to help and decorate because I love doing it. My friends and hubby had suggested to develop my passion into more opportunities to earn something out of it, thus this budding business was born.

I believe that passion on something is not about what we get in return but what we give and share to make others happy and by doing so when we feel happiness and fulfillment then we realize it is our calling and our purpose on earth. Once a hobby, now my passion. I am not much into how much I get out of it but how much I can give to others to make them happy with their event, at the same time to master my craft.
