We had so much fun performing at Silver Dollar City and Dollywood a few years back.

We’ve had four theme park residencies. One for Harvey and one for our speedpainting and break dancing friend, Ricardo Arts. Two for me.

It really tightens up the act when we land residencies. Testing what the audience responds to. Tweaking the show and finding a daily routine of performing and enjoying life.

We worked till exhaustion daily and had lovely walks in the mornings or days off hiking lovely wooded trails, cosy dinners and Harley rides in the hills.

We made so many friends and have a happy glow thinking of these days gone past.

My favorite parts were the audience participation and meet and greet after the show.

I spent 9 seasons drawing caricatures at Astroworld so theme parks feel like home to me.

But so does any stage to be honest. It’s been a wonderful ride spreading joy and art and fun

Did you know that Billy Johnson was a pioneer of touchdown celebrations? In his rookie year back in 1974 he would celebrate touchdowns with the ‘funky chicken’. No wonder moves like that inspired Harvey Dunn during our halftime show for the Tennessee Titans

Pre-Game prep before the halftime show for @titans

PaintJam's first symphony show was in Azerbaijan at the fabulous Heydar Aliyev Center. Dan Dunn painted an iconic 1950’s local movie star that was instantly recognized by the locals. We loved performing with the symphony in this insanely beautiful hall. This led to us developing shows for the Houston Symphony at Jones Hall and the National Symphony at the Kennedy Center. Also the Wichita Symphony.
