We are here with hot and cold prepackaged foods for sale, come pick up a pound of brisket, pulled pork, or jalapeño cheese sausage along with either a quart of mac and cheese or baked beans. It’s vacuum packed and ready to reheat for supper one night this week.

Welcome to Poppa's Pit Barbecue Catering. We provide mobile BBQ catering for anniversaries, weddings, birthdays, graduations, business training and business parties throughout Prosper, Plano, McKinney, Frisco, and Allen. Call us at 214 538-1936.

We provide high quality meats: brisket, pulled pork, turkey breast, sausage, pork loin, and chicken. Side items are also available including potato salad, barbecue baked beans, cole slaw, green beans, mashed potatoes, and corn.

Johnny Standerfer, a Frisco native, owns Poppa’s Pit BBQ Catering. He married Roxanne O’Dell from Prosper and they raised 3 children in the Prosper ISD. They still reside in Prosper. Johnny is a 4th generation farmer in Collin County and has ventured into catering due to the rapid decrease of farmland. Family and friends that he has cooked for over the years encouraged him because of the delicious quality of his many culinary dishes. He pays special attention to the needs of each individual customer and tailors a meal plan specifically for them.

He looks forward to the opportunity to cater your next event. He has done weddings, office parties, banquets, construction sites, birthday parties and several charitable events in which he donated the meat and all proceeds to better our community.
