Who knew?! That's a whole lotta scrolling! What kind of videos are YOU hooked on?
Lately, I've been juggling so many ideas in my head, things I wanted to accomplish, but somehow, they remained stuck in the realm of "seeming to do" rather than actual "doing." Can anyone relate? 😅
So, I'm taking a moment to share this with you all, hoping that this message will serve as a little nudge for me (and maybe for some of you too!) to finally sit down and DO the things that have been on our minds for far too long.
Celebrating by admitting that actually, I don't take many selfies and when I do, usually do not like them. Yikes! Sorry everyone, wish I could tell you that photographing/filming yourself eventually becomes a breeze, but while it does become easier (and you learn to roll with those cringe photos/videos) as far as my experience shows, it doesn't become effortless. 😬
Taking my negotiation skills to the mat! We're going to go off-site for a Judo seminar from June 19th - 23rd. We'll be back with some (hopefully!) improved throws and (hopefully!) no bruises, (but let's be real, definitely bruises) on the 24th. 🥋👋

It's easy to assume that 'price' and 'value' are the same thing. They're really not. Think back to when you spent money on something and experienced buyer's remorse. You paid a price that was greater than the value of the item, at least to you. Now on the flip side, think of when you bought something that was an amazing steal. That was a low price relative to its value.
It's natural to want the best value for the lowest price. We'd be weird if we didn't. (Makes me think of a SpongeBob episode where Patrick haggles upward for an item he's trying to buy). And it seems like "price" and "value" should be easy to define concepts, but they aren't.
If you've never played around with video before and if you have a small brand, except for in some key circumstances, the value of a professional video relative to its cost might not be worth the price. But at some point, the time and headache savings in creation, in learning, in mistakes... the increase in the level of the product and the engagement/conversions/donations/sales that increase can bring... offer value that can far exceed what the cost is to produce.
I think video is awesome. And I love when people use it, using me or someone else or doing it on their own. I'm not sure where you are on your journey (if your journey even involves video) but if you ever need video work that truly resonates with your brand, let's work together.
