We are the Miller's, Kevin and Terri Miller. If you were to ask Kevin, he would tell you he is the "braun" behind this business, He picks things up, he puts things down... Where I tell him to of course. lol. My role? Well, I tell Kevin where to put things down. That would make me the designer. lol...but seriously, we are a small, family owned and operated business, located in Howell Michigan. Our business story begins in the summer of 2015, you see we are the parents of 5 beautiful daughters and as of right now...three son in laws, and welcoming another this May 2017. As you can imagine, having three married daughters, all with different tastes and ideas as to what the "Perfect day" would look like... put us at a huge advantage when it comes to the experience needed to plan an decorate a wedding. After all three weddings were done and over, we relized a couple of very important things; First of all... YOUR TIME IN INVALUABLE AND CANNOT BE REPLACED!
How it all works...Our Business:
What if I told you that it IS possible to have your cake and eat it too! What if I told you that there really is a company that will supply you will EVERYTHING you need to decorate your dream wedding from the tiny details like battery operated tea lights, battery operated candles, fresh batteries to large items such as vintage sofa’s, chandeliers, buffets, backdrops and whiskey barrels? But wait! There’s MORE! What if I also told you that this same company will also assist you in design/styling of your perfect wedding to make it a one of a kind event? Oh, and let’s not forget the most important thing...what if I also told you that this company will deliver, set up, stage out, return and break down annnnnnd, haul away all of these items so that you do not have to “work” your own wedding? What if I told you that this company can do that for a price that is most often less expensive than the cost of a florist alone? (We also provide a large selection of high end silk and greenery for your floral needs) WELL...MILLER’S VINTAGE SHABBY CHIC EVENT RENTALS, LLC is that company!!! We do not so much “Rent” our inventory. What we do is provide you a “Service”, which happens to supply you with whatever it is you would like to use at your wedding. What you are paying for is many hours of planning, delivery, setup and breakdown and haul away.
It is unfortunate that so many brides do not realize how fast their wedding day will go by and how little time they will have to complete all of the task that will be required in a do-it-yourself wedding. Miller’s would like to save you from that regret. We realize that all brides want to be “hands on” during the wedding planning process, and we totally respect that. You call all the shots, we are there for you from beginning to end, working for you, making YOUR wedding dreams come true. This day is way too important for you to miss a single detail because you and your friends and family were too busy “working” your day. We take the work out of it for you. Not to mention, do our very best to make the planning process FUN & STRESS FREE!
